Bill Johnson warns of the battle for your memories. The devil works hard to remind you of the things that didn’t work out and what God didn’t do, but Scripture urges you to “forget not His benefits”. Remembering the testimonies of what God has done is more than just bringing them to mind. Remembering what God has done is supposed to affect your perspective and how you see. If you experience a financial miracle and then face another financial challenge, that miracle is supposed to affect how you face the next challenge and establish your hope in the One who provides. Fight to protect the memories of what God has done for you - let them shape how you think and see, and live with steadfast hope that comes from your confidence in God.

I understand your point about remembering what God can do and has done, and I say amen to it. At the same time, when the healing doesn’t come, the provision doesn’t come, the prodigal dies of an overdose without coming back to the Lord, we search the scriptures for reasons because we MUST trust God in those times because, as Job said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.”

I have been having dizziness, ligheadedness, anxiety and all sort of horrible symptoms that I cannot figure out what it is. It’s been relentless for 12 months. I also tested positive for autoimmune, please pray for me for complete healing in the name of Jesus

Thank you God for giving us the gift of retrospective. We see your hand so clearly when we look back on our lives & see your hand in so many ways. Praise the Lord.
Woah. Too good. You finish with the hope that these memories of healing would be your default thought. That is good but I will toot a horn for the book, The Power of the Second Thought by Jesse Bradley. First part of the book is his testimony, having accomplished his dream to be a professional athlete he was playing soccer in Zimbabwe when he was poisoned by the medication given to him for malaria. This took him into ten years of debilitation where he discovered the power of the second thought. I too have been on that trail as I was surprised a couple of times when I was in angst I would go to my Word and find I would be delivered. Follow up with that, Hebrews 1:21 TPT. When I heard his testimony on Shawn Bolz show of the power of second thoughts I bought that book. So simple yet so profound. Even getting up in the morning thoughts just pop into that brain. The second thought is replacing the first thought with Gods promises of hope. So what you are talking about today adds a huge diminsion to that practice. Remember. One for the archives, Bill. So good.

My brother needs deliverance from alcohol.. and needs hip surgery. In Jesus’ name, he’s delivered from all darkness.
So good and I am not even finished hearing this yet. I wanted to find the vs in Psalm 119 and the Lord took me right there. Didn't hurt that it was already underlined, vs 111. The Living Word of God. Hebrews 1:21. His Word is implanted in us and will continually deliver us. Probably over sharing but this is just so much a continuation of a thread the Lord has me on. The power of the second thought...Now this. Remembering. A re word, something you said years ago (re-present) got me started on looking up the word coming after re. Member; part of a whole so I am thinking remember is to rejoin the Whole. Today, I see another favorite word, memorial; Serving to keep remembrance alive. Who can think of memorial without thinking of communion and who can think of communion in our present times without thinking of Beni Johnson. Much love

So true I was in that place ... And the awesome part was God brought me through my unbelief and blockages and I was freed to receive healing .. Jesus has already done ALL we need at the cross and we are learning how to receive it. I have also seen for brand new believers there are often miracles because they haven't always got time to get to that place in their minds . The Lord directs us for each person when we pray for what the blockage is . He is AWESOME .. Saturning in His word for me is such a key.. .
