When people speak on DNA it’s so dumb to me because your still in the womb of another person. You take on whatever they take on. We saw the red flags on this union back when messy Mama Joyce would go in on him, unchecked. There were boundaries that weren't being respected. He left his job to be with her and took on passionless jobs to appease her family. He probably feels resentment for his Mom as well.

Signing or giving the other party a prenup “the last minute” is a BIG NO NO. This is why a lot of judges throw them out. For a prenup to be valid and HARD to fight against BOTH parties have to discuss it /make necessary changes with an ATTORNEY for AT LEAST A YEAR. Ladies learn from these celebrities mistakes.

Kandi is narcissistic and arrogant but she tries to be low key with it, plenty of times when Kandi gets angry or upset about something it comes out quickly. Kandi is very selfish, she didn’t want Todd working in California Producing shows. As far as Joyce she is utterly disgusting and she’s never going change. Their relationship seems to be built on business, more than love. They put business before anything, even their own kids. They're the type in public and on social platforms they want to have this picture perfect relationship, but when no one sees them they aren't truly happy & probably are at each other often over their business ventures. And with as much mess their restaurants get, that right there is enough to be an argument/problem within their marriage.

Her mom is afraid of losing Kandi, she feels like he's taking her daughter away, she's codependent. Kandi brother was killed. When a parent buries 1 child, they'll heavily attach themselves to the other child. I really think the disrespect is to run him away and she's angry since he's not leaving the marriage

Thank you for this coverage and RRG music. Relationships have so many facets. There are a few things that could be taken away from this situation between Todd and Kandi. First, we can safely say, Kandi knows what she wants to achieve in life and does not seem willing to jeopardize her dreams and goals, which she clearly shares with Todd. Second, Todd clearly could not use his handsome face to just win over the woman so that she is willing to just let down her guard for him to have unlimited control over her assets, and for good reason. Third, the two have an allegiance to what it is they both wanted to get from this union. Kandi, inviting Todd into her Atlanta lifestyle and world expanded Todd's opportunities. But, in order to keep Kandi's trust and desire to remain in this relationship, Todd is staying the course, by at least setting the appearance of being devoted until he is satisfied he's gained what he wants. When I saw Todd not joined with his wife in the same limousine heading back from the Beyonce concert and heard his excuse, it displayed a loss of respect for his Queen. It was blatant disregard for Kandi's feelings and a lack of maturity as a husband and gentleman, respectively. It showed maturity on Kandi's part when she approached Todd right at that moment and voiced her opinion to him. But, for a "GROWN" man there is no excuse. Be clear, a cute face is nowhere near enough Todd! It appears there is much more maturing that needs to take place. Kandi and Todd, life is full of lessons and one things for sure you'll either learn them now or it will only expand. Evaluate where you are, what you have, where you want to go and know how you are getting there. One Love ❤

I'm not gone lie, I also think other people's opinions & traditionalism affected their relationship too. I think people way too much on Todd with his finances because he doesn't make as much as Kandi, but he was already making 6 figures before her, but people act like he was struggling working a minimum wage job, he had a whole career. Not too many people are gonna meet Kandi's income. Traditionally, someone cam also meet the income and still be a crappy person, that doesn't alleviate them from doing so. However, specifically Todd does have issues with being a great emotionally connected partner to Kandi.

I think we as a society tend to diminish situations for men, but I would feel the same way that happened to a woman as well. People do that with Ciara and Russell, they act like Ciara was struggling, when she was literally a multi-millionaire before Russell. Heck, she was a model before she was even a music artist. But back to the point, I honestly feel really sorry for Todd when he said that he got the trucking business just to appease her fans, and he wasn't happy with it, I feel him. We as a society are too caught up in materials, and it's hustle culture. If I was making Todd's income prior to Kandi, I would be happy, and I definitely would not want to have tons of businesses, just to make more money. I'm sure he would trade in some of those finances, for peace of mind and freedom, I would. LLC social media will have you thinking owning and running a business is easy, when it's not, it's stressful.

Momma Joyce, is a bitter-old bitty who feels she can no longer control Kandi and probably felt Todd was going to take Kandi for all that she has financially. The love that Kandi had shown for her mother is now on Todd. Misery loves company & I see Kandi being alone with the kids and Momma Joyce finally at peace because Todd is out of the picture.

Mama Joyce is selfish and wants Kandi and her money all to herself. Kandi don’t let that man breathe. They did a video when he was talking about all of his friends are Kandi friends. Anytime he goes out has to be with Kandi and he just wants to hang with the fellas.

It's exhausting when a woman has to continue trying to impress her man, upgrading and feeling insecure. Kandi may not admit this but over the seasons with Todd, she has continued to elevate herself which is GOOD - she is a BOSS. But I became concerned when her whole facial look changed, and she upgraded to a more model look which spelled UNHAPPY with her original features. I DO hope that Todd is NOW happy with Kandi, and she is secure enough to feel confident in her skin so that their relationship can flourish more than just in business.
