Great video. One question, in the end, you stated that both Theravada and Vajrayana Buddhism have the 4 Noble Truths at the core of their practices. Is that not true for Mahayana Buddhism as well?

What about if I stand somewhere inbetween Theravada and Mahayana? I assert that Vajrayana Buddhism is corruption, with man-made rituals and "special chants" and "special powers" and all the ritualistic, component nonsense that clouds the mind.

it seems technically impossible to stand between Theravada and Mahayana since the difference is vital. In Tibet or Nepal Vajrayana was connected to many rituals that to large degree came from Tibetan culture. However, this has nothing to do with the essence of this school which contains the highest teachings of Buddhism.

But all schools have their own rituals and devotional cult, not only Tibetan Buddhism. Especially some mahayana schools such as Pure Land.

Vajrayan is for extremely capables only. Not fit for fickle minded people.
