I feel there's a part you missed, in the Introduction when you first start the game there is a line I believe supports this theory. "The legend of Jorvik says that in times of much despair and darkness a girl will once again appear on horseback and bring light and hope to what seems to be lost. Are you that girl?" Our character is that girl, our character is Aideen's reincarnation.

I love this theory so much, it's an awesome and pretty solid theory. I think it could be true ^.^ Tho, there is one thing I wonder. We don't get that much story quests, but they will still end someday - as you said in the video, the danger on Jorvik has grown and we are needed. Without us, Garnok will probably win and that's why we are needed. Knowing SSO, we will probably beat Garnok one day, but what then? Will the story quests come to an end? Next to friendship and horses, I think the story quests are the main thing why players keep on playing, and if they'd end, I think SSO'd lose a lot of players and with them a lot of money. After all, SSO just wants money. It might take years to finish the story quests, but I think they will end, they can't be infinite. I don't know, but I've been thinking about this a lot lately. :)

I've thought about that too, and that's probably why SSO will push the final battle as much as they can. I mean, the final battle *has* to come someday. And as you said, SSO will probably loose a lot of players because of the mainstory ending :P

I have reason to believe that even if we battle Garnok, and win, I'm sure it will be just a temporary thing again and not an altogether defeat :P After all, before Anne and Lisa were taken, things were peaceful for awhile, and then all of a sudden, they were gone. Even if it's not Garnok that we battle again, I'm sure that Dark Core will find some kind of other sinister thing going on eventually that will involve the soul riders stopping them. I don't believe that the plot will ever go away altogether. I believe it will last as long as this game still runs - with slight changes, I'm sure. Who knows, maybe after the battle with Garnok, we might have peace for a few years and then have to save the island again from destruction :D With this being the main story of the game, it really wouldn't make sense for it to end. All that would be left of us as players would be Anastasia's shopping slave, going on ice cream runs for Madison and her family, doing things for the lazy npcs, which, let's be real, is almost all of them, etc. If this storyline ever ends altogether, Northena is definitely right - they'll lose a lot of players, because as I mentioned, there will be almost nothing left of us as players. Our character's lives will be meaningless and boring.

I'm looking back at these old nostalogic theory video's and the old graphics of the game in the video and how much more logic and better the mainstory was back then.. I miss these times..

It was actually SNOW in Jorvik 2016, and then sso did something that doesn’t give that cozy Christmas feeling when they added the Christmas valley, yeah sure the valley was really nice but it’s not that funny to be riding around on an area when it’s summer all the time :( I really miss the snow...

I miss this era of sso. . .

What if the last location on the map where the last fridge door is supposed to be located is a place where we can access Pandoria? And whenever you go to the secret stone circle and look at the map you find yourself somewhere above Golden Hills in a closed off area, not too far from where the top of the star is supposed to be.. Idk.. just a thought..

NORTHENA!!! I just had an idea!!! As I was watching your video just now I was trying to find a why Garnok would be linked to the soul riders, more than what we know now. I CAME UP WITH SOMETHING! As I was thinking about how he, Garnok, could be linked, I was thinking who would be the first should riders dad. I think you know where I'm going! I actually came up with a theory like that myself lol except in my theory Garnok was Aideen's brother, but he became jealous when he figured out his sister (Aideen) had special powers used to create life while he had no powers. His anger and jealousy turned him into a monster on the outside, and so Aideen had no choice but to banish him into the bottom of the sea. Ever since then Garnok has been trying to destroy Jorvik, the island his sister created. Also, I think maybe Garnok attempted creating his own group of riders (The Dark Riders) to help him do so. Maybe I'm wrong but this is how I would picture Garnok and Aideen's relationship. It would also explain WHY Garnok is trying to destroy Jorvik in the first place... Your theory is really good! But if Garnok was the soul rider's dad, wouldn't the soul riders be partly evil? That's the only thing that's keeping me from believing this theory is true, but you may be onto something... we don't know who the father of Aideen's daughters were, so it could be anybody, even Garnok

Wait, you're the fifth should rider?!?! I thought I was the fifth sould rider!!!!!!!! HOW MANY FIFTH SOULD RIDERS ARE THERE?!?!?!?!?

This literally makes me miss the old mysterious game we once had so so much.

We also got some new info in the new "Light Ride" quests *(spoilers)* There was talk of Catherine, Justin's mother, being "that girl". I understood it as that Catherine was the reincarnation of Aideen. It's revealed that the character may be "that girl". Jasper said that the Druids "broke her", after her time with the Druids she settled down with Thomas. Linda also mentioned that she doesn't think that the world is black and white. Maybe Dark Core isn't as bad as we think, the Druids may be hiding something. They can be keeping big secrets about this fifth soulrider the character is painted out to be. We activated all the runestones, as Elizabeth mentioned in Aideen's Whisper. Why does it have to be kept a secret? I feel like the Druids are a bit manipulative, they aren't revealing critical facts because they think that the player "isn't ready". I simply believe they are afraid that the player can use these powers however we want, with them or against them. Sure, Garnok is vad, but is he as bad as he's painted out to be by hhe Druids?

What else is interesting. As far as I remember, at the first meeting of the Druids, Elizabeth says that for more than a hundred years no one has activated all four runestones. A trip of light and a transcript of the diary gives great hints that Katerina was the fifth horseman as a player character. But 50 years have not passed there. And it’s definitely annoying that from the druids you can often hear "you're not ready." It is clear that Katerina had a sad experience, because she, apparently, immediately found out about her difference (although not very good relations between the riders played a role here). But purely humanly, it would probably be worth considering that the character can go looking for answers behind the druids.

YES. I always thought the druids weren't as good as they said to be. If what Ydris said is true, then the druids frickin trapped a DEMON inside pandoria, just to save jorvik, but at the same time, they left pandoria to rot. Seems pretty selfish to me. I'm also pretty sure one of the druids broke the 5th statue, OUR statue. I feel like we have more enemies that we think we have.

This is literally spot on because during catherine's memories and at the end catherine said that the 5th soul rider is a reincarnation of Aideen. Good job Northena and your friends!

It also says at the start that we have come to Jorvik for the summer,meaning we came from somewhere else, but then decide to stay there. That means that our character came from some where else which links to the fact that the fifth girl left Jorvik.

I know I'm late but I would like to point out that in the quest where you save justin, right before you and your horse jump off the platform your horse says "through our bond, Aideen lives, together." Not sure if that means we are a reincarnated goddess or what.

this is the earliest I have been on one of your videos! Yay!!! Havent finished watching yet but I love it so far!

I understand it now... When Anne and Lisa were still missing, Fripp was talking about how our character could replace one of them, but we still needed to find one of the two. Because two of the Soul Rider's were missing, which has never happened before, our character's powers were awakened.

I'm thinking that they are not sisters by blood, but by soul. Just like the horses, I'm sure the aideen sisters' souls were passed on to our current soul riders. I imagine that when a soul rider's days are over, the soul will find a new match and pass on to that person, explaining why all the soul riders look so alike - the souls are searching for a specific person that resembles their original self

This is amazing! I love your theories so much, especially because I love discussing and seeing discussion on the story line. I've loved it and these games from the first moment I once played Star Shine Legacy :) (Weird to think that many of especially the younger SSO players have never even heard of the previous games.)

Naomi Candlesmith The theory is Adieen had 5 children that posses the powers And the powers get passed down generation after generation But becuase the 5th daughter (the one who has the all the powers) wasn't needed She moved away from Jorvik and started a new life But because Dark Core has gotten so strong The genration with the 5th daughter is needed after all these years And the girl we play as is the recreation of Adieen because Adieen (like the 5th daughter) has all the powers I hope it makes sence 😉

I love this theory! I haven't been playing SSO for nearly as much time as Northena has, but I have something to add to this theory! Recently I did main story quests involving the Sleeping Widow. (You know, that primevial tree in forgotten fields) When you had to wake her to save Lisa from Pandoria, one of the first things she does is question if you are Aideen. Is it possible that she could sense we are Aideen's reincarnation?

This is soo late, but aaah its so incredible!! And super interesting loving these videos❤️🙌🏻👏🏻

It could possibly be the head of Dark Core didn't want anyone to know, so they either blew the statue up into ruins or broke everything into pieces. I'm sure that Dark Core knew about that place as the place would have been open to everyone on Jorvik perhaps, and the portal we used to save Anne, they used it freely so they could travel between Pandoria and Jorivk without anything needed. The statue supposedly of Aideen was perhaps also destroyed once Aideen died, but, then why is Jorvik still so bright? Because her spirit never left. Although her body must've been buried somewhere special to Aideen, her spirit kept on living, watching over the soul riders. But then, if the children of Aideen died, why aren't the other statues destroyed? Because the children of Aideen (excluding us, the player) stayed on Jorvik, so the statues never got destroyed as they stayed on the island, while us, the 5th soul rider, left Jorvik. Another theory, for the statue is that Garnok didn't like the statue of Aideen and her horse (our starter horse), to wreck everything of Aideen's history, proof of her existence, he wanted it gone. So he broke the statue, leaving the others standing because he knew they were too weak for anything. How did Garnok get to Jorvik to destroy the statue? Dark Core. It's the only explanation. I'm sure that Dark Core opened the portal in which was used to save Anne and let Garnok through, or only a tentacle through so he could break it. Why didn't Garnok escape from the portal while he had the chance? I'm sure Garnok had his reasons, or perhaps it was too small and the connection was weak for Garnok to slip through. And remember, the statue broke maybe nearly 1000 years ago, Garnok may have been a child then so his tentacles may be too small, but long enough to break the statue, but too weak to pull them out. Or perhaps the soul riders where there, so they quickly stopped Garnok escaping after he broke the statue. There could be 100 possibilities to this, maybe even more.

That is actually a theory i've had been thinking about before, that our character is the reincarnation of Aideen. I really like this idea and it seems possible :D I also never took notice that the soulriders looked so alike in different timelines, which Is really interesting! one thing I kinda hope happens in the game, is that after all 4 soulriders and their horses are back together, what if they decide that the more experienced riders should go and take care of Dark core? so the soulrider leaves us behind because we don't have that much training as them or control. but as you say, the danger have become to big, so we are needed. So either we decide to just sneak after them, or talk to elisabeth and maybe she could freak out since as you say, she knows something (and the soulriders probably doesn't know). She then orders us to go after them. I really love these videos, your videos are always so fun to watch! :D
