No... 2 divides a^2 and also 2 divides a. This is proven by the theorem... 'Let p be a prime number. If p divides a^2, then p divides a, where a is a positive integer.

How a prime number is divisible by 2? Like you said if 2 divide a square so 2 can divide a. But you said a and b are coprime so the coprime factors is not divisble by 2

Co prime number are those numbers whose common factor is 1(only 1). EG:- 14 and 15 etc.
