As Theo says . . . WOW! Wow, again! Not only is your performance phenomenal, Raphael, but your videography is also excellent. MOST IMPRESSIVE! And what an organ! BRAVO! I was very lucky to meet Professor Theo van Wyk last summer when I was honoured to have one of my organ compositions played by him at St Paul's Cathedral in London. He is a really lovely guy, a brilliant organist and an inspirational composer. I wrote my 'Seraphic Exaltations' (a Rhapsody on 'Nicaea') for him, and together with his amazing 'An Eclectic Passacaglia', both pieces were selected for publication following a competition in the 2023 BIS Organ Book, 'Veni Creator'. It would be wonderful to hear you play his passacaglia!

Raphael, All I can say is "WOW"! You perform my composition with such flair and persuasion. Your deep understanding of its contours and structures underscores your immense musicality and technical prowess of the highest order! Well done. I am honoured. Greetings from South Africa, Theo

Another really great performance, Raphael, on a magnificent pipe organ. A brilliant variation on “Nun danket alle Gott” by Theo van Wyk. Many thanks for posting

Excellent version of Widor's Toccata. I note you are South African, so am I. Where are you based? Have subscribed.

@@theovanwyk5333 Oh, accepting criticism is probably not your forte. The Widor theme is omnipresent and is not processed in a particularly original way: there is too little musical development and there is no comparable pull like in Widor V. As I said, not bad for liturgical use, but not a concert piece.

@@theovanwyk5333 Thank you for your kind offer of some further discussion, but I prefer to listen to Karg-Elert's op. 75b instead ;)
