I’m only on episode 2 so far, and just paused it to come here and comment about that scene where the son comes downstairs and the clip of the late Rodney King getting brutalized by cops is playing and rewinding over and over. The joker grin on his moms face as she’s laying there watching creeped me the f out, then he turns on the light and she’s it even really there. The makers of this show and the actors are masters at their craft. That shit was chilling.

The only modern movie I know of that ended "correctly" was Django. The last 20 minutes was worth the price of admission alone.

Cautiously optimistic for this. The first season of Them was one of the most perfect bingewatching streaming series i ever experienced. Even better than most American Horror Story seasons. Hoping they can continue with that level of quality.

Them S1 was so shocking and addictive. Apparently a lot people found it too upsetting to watch. I personally think it should be shown in schools, maybe then we could start to eradicate systemic racism while their minds are still malleable. I have to say that season two is a totally different vibe, but it’s still very high-quality, and genuinely scary !

So glad they decided to bring this show back. That first season was so compelling and thought provoking. Really want to see how they approach this new season. I thought it would be a continuation of the prior season but whole new storyline. So glad to see a lot of people watched this series.

I just finished watching it and I liked it. It was very creepy and disturbing. Luke James was so unsettling in the role of Edmund. He was brilliant.

This series is phenomenal and Luke James’ character took me on an emotional roller coaster. If you haven’t seen it, you better get ready to binge watch it.

I’m tuned in. Shanice’s I LOVE YOUR SMILE has officially gotten the Jordan Peele’s US treatment and I love it.

She was soo good in the first season . I watched every episode. Glad to see the series is finally back.

@77Creation to be honest AHS is inconsistent and poorly written. It's a few seasons in there they are well done. But AHS just hasn't been good its simply overrated. That's why I said I don't know if comparing the 2 is a good thing.

After having watched the first three episodes I find this series horrifying. It makes me feel terrible and sad and scared while at the same time hopeful that somehow things will work out for the family, though I have a desperate dread that it won't. Some reviews say the producers took racism too far. Unfortunately, I think, in actuality, it was much much worse.

Man . . . I just got thru from watching season 2. And it was worth every second. Luke James deserves to be nominated because his performance was truly remarkable, and Deborah Ayorinde is an actress that needs to be recognized. It was well-casted and acted from each character and the storyline was put together beautifully in an era that's well loved and missed. People, please check out this series!

Both the shooting and the editing were beautiful, in one word, it was wonderful.

Now I didn't finish the first season. I got to now. I'm glad they're going the AMERICAN HORROR STORY route here. Keep things fresh. I'm in!

Oh no. We get it. Anybody who has watched both seasons and has a brain gets it. There is so much going on. Especially in season 1. Season 1 even ventures outside of problems in the black community and touches on feminism amongst white women and the “male feminists”(the milkman) who use them.
