Some people may or may not agree with me but I hope Mane 6 finds a new publisher after they fired them. And who knows maybe they’ll do more characters and the story to continue.

@@Polina_Lozenko From what I understand, Modus Games got greedy and laid off the people at Mane6. Now, Baihe and Nidra come out buggy AND story mode remains forever incomplete. Hey, Joshscorcher, I got a 2024 fail for you! Seriously, greed can really corrupt, not just one person, but also an entire group of people!
I so badly want this to be a show 😫
We need more animal fighting games, only using the entire menagerie.

@MultiverseHearts Yeah, disappointed story mode is never gonna be finished but I personally don't care about that anymore. The whole game is discontinued, but it has been confirmed the game will still get fixes on any minor or game breaking bugs.
The characters need to be polish a bit more (the two new ones ñ) but I actually understand why they are like that Because they did not give the dev team enough time 😤

They are no longer actively working on this game anymore. The main team behind this game was fired by their publisher. Nidra and Baihe are basically the nail in the coffin for the foreseeable future.

Aw man.. The main team didnt deserve to be fired I'm really hoping someone else is able to pick up the project and try to continue with the game (Which isnt likely but i would like to imagine)

I thought Mane 6 gave up on this game. That's why there was never any updates at all.

Nope, that's not the case. Basically Mane 6 got fired by Modus (now named Maximum Entertainment) due to unstated reasons. They may go back to working on this game in the far future, but they have a new fighting game in the works right now that they're probably prioritizing, which is based on Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Yup. That's Chris Sabat for you. He also voiced Major Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood; All Might from My Hero Academia, and Arthur Watts from RWBY.
I really hope Mane6 is able to continue working on this, maybe through like a Patreon or Kickstarter or something. Modus/Maximum Games screwed them over so hard.

Baihe is the newest (and final) DLC character. She's the blue longma (dragon/horse mix breed). Her section in the video is the last timestamp.

Well that's because the original developers initially started with MLP and made a fighting game out of the Mane 6. You can find it by searching "Fighting is Magic". After they got a cease and desist from Hasbro, the team had to make a brand new game from scratch along with a new cast of original characters, all of which Lauren Faust helped design. In other words, the 6 main characters in TFH (excluding the DLC characters) are derivative in some way of their MLP counterpart!
