Happy Birthday Corey. 🎂 thanks for the videos you sparked a flame I've had inside to skate again. But for me it's going to be a little while my story is a little crazy I just purchased a pair of USD Aeon 2021 and while I was waiting I took my wife and kids for my daughter's birthday to Urban Air and that didn't go so well I got hurt and yesterday just had surgery I currently had a bilateral quadricep tendon rupture in both my knees so my journey is just beginning but you videos give me that motivation thank you.

Another top video dude, thanks. Cant wait to hear what you think of the new skates, especially the street frames. I have been playing with the idea of riding flat recently and these look ace but I do worry a little about wheel bite.

Liking the frames so far. The 2-3 split is actually wider than I expected. Almost as wide as an Aeon. Wheel bite is more of a mental barrier I find. If you can get it out of your mind, it won’t be an issue, and even if you do catch a bit, you can typically push through it or not get bucked off too hard.

Hey I'm wondering what size them skates to get with the intuition v2 liner. I wear a 8.5 shoe what size foot do you have because u say you where a small boot and small liner do you really squeeze I to them or your foot is between 7 and 8 like yhe website says for there size chart

Yeah. Gform knee gaskets and some normal soccer shin guards. Little warm in the summer, but nice and slim.

Great videos thanks! I have narrow feet... (27.3 cm long and 10.5 cm wide) I'm trying to work out what size to buy in Them 909, can you give me any guidance on this? What size are your feet exactly and what size do you ride? Are these skates good for narrow feet?

Last rough measurement I took had me at 268 on my longest foot. I’m squeezed into a size small 909 with a small V2 intuition liner. I can’t say I would recommend it for most people, especially if you want any extra room in your boot. I take up just about every mm in the small shell. There’s a very small chance you could make it work with something like a second skin or maybe the RL1 liner, but you’ll definitely be stubbing toes. Medium shell would be a safe bet, especially with a thicker liner like the Them intuition.

THEM website says it’s the Them V.3 version of the liner. I have not experience with any of them though and I’m not sure what changes were made through the different versions.

Are the frame spacers supposed to come loose on the Them? Or are they press fitted?

How loose are they? They should be able to come out, but hopefully they’re not clicking around and moving when the wheels are tightened.

Those Them Skates looked awesome! Been waiting to skate my Danny Beers ever since Christmas - But Germany is in full lockdown and it has been raining and snowing nonstop for weeks now... :( How are your Sunday Brunch Skates compared to your Aeons and Sways? Any trouble adjusting to the smaller groove and soulplate? How are the Them Frames compared to your Symetrics and how are the new pants working out? ;)

Thanks, and sorry to hear about the situation in Germany. Hopefully you’ll be back out on blades soon. The Thems have been great for me. Almost as responsive as aeons, but the fit my foot better and I don’t get pressure points. I prefer smaller souls, so it was a welcome change coming off of USD skates. The frames have been great so far. Different than symetrics, but still no issues with wheel bite even on a 58mm wheel. And the pants... the pants are great.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see another bacemint collab, but I doubt it would be this exact wheel. They keep the limited edition limited. They seem to drop a colorful LE wheel every six months or so. Red Eye and Undercover have some colorful options.

I got these from shop-task in Seattle. Great option if you’re on the west coast. Out in the east I would recommend Oak City. If you’re anywhere near Dallas, check out Carriers.

I found this one this way, but typically you want to use a rub brick (can find it in the masonry section of a hardware store) and a coat of clear lacquer.

My feet are 280mm and fit into Small shell 909's (Medium v2's or EU43 Second Skins). You'll be fine.

Small intuition in a small shell. I’m surprised to hear @Shaun Ladd can fit it at 280. I fill out every single bit of the shell with the v2 intuition in it. I think the THEM intuitions are thicker in different areas so I can’t say if I would fit the beers, but there’s definitely hope. Maybe a lengthy break in, but it could work.

The stock liners are a higher volume liner. My foot is too large to fit inside of them. I need a lower volume liner to make it work.

I think they’re a great skate. The main thing for me is how a skate fits. You’ll never like a skate that doesn’t fit you properly. The 909 fits me near perfect so I’m a bit biased. That being said, I’ve heard plenty of great things about the blanks. Looking to pick up a pair for myself in the future.

Up. Never tried them down though. Just left them how they came. Mostly for the aesthetic. I don’t want the liners sticking way up out of the top of the cuffs.
