It’s a Japanese ikebana flower frog to arrange fresh minimal flowers. Ikebana is an ancient flower arranging technique. Very simple and beautiful!

That fuse glass bowl with the pokey flower frog thingy in the middle is a ikebana used for Japanese flower making it’s pretty cool actually

You and Kayla's videos are the only ones I don't skip through! So entertaining and Kayla's excitement for everything is so heartwarming.

The Japanese name for the flower holder is kinzu. They come in a multitude of sizes up to the size of an orange.

I CAN NOT believe they had those high prices on those dingy clear vases. WOW

Honestly, living in Los Angeles and thrifting is pure madness. The other day, I saw a set of 8 wine glasses for $110. A plane-nonbranded casserole was $18. You guys have no idea how crazy prices are in LA. After our property taxes, not much left to by a $10 clear glass vase 🤣🤣

It is called a Pin Frog for floral design. It’s eco friendly and re-emerging in three floral industry. They are quite costly for us as florists. I didn’t see the price tag but may have been a great pickup.

It's called ikebana. You place the stems in the sharp frog and put water in the small area to keep the flowers alive for a while.

I’m super blessed to have my goodwill’s price coats at $5.99

We live in Central Coast, CA. Our Goodwill’s around Paso, San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, etc. are $9.99 to $15.99 for nice jackets, but leather ones I don’t check cause we have way to many HD ones already. Haven’t tried LA & San Fran Goodwills (where our 2 sons live), but I’m sure their higher🤨

I have a few vintage flower frogs. I like to cut fresh flowers and put them in the guest room when I have company and in the powder room. I like the organic, beautiful way flowers look in a frog. Thank you always for your videos and hard work!

The glass item is a flower FROG you make arrangements using it. You’ve seen clear glass ones before I’m sure. That one looks like someone took the little piece and got the glass piece to marry them together

Great video! Overland equipment is a discontinued brand, but it is for sure quality and sought out!

It is a floral frog but it looks like it has been repurposed by someone doing glass fusing to be a candle holder- you can stick a thick taper candle in the metal prongs on the floral frog for stability
