I agree. I listened to this song twice yesterday and really felt confused. But listening to it this time, I think I get it now. The chorus ties the whole thing together, because it’s less intense than the verses and breakdown, but not ambient or acoustic. I don’t know, maybe I’m still thinking about it, but I’ve definitely come to like it more than initially.

Same dude, I am not embarrassed to say I didn't get into Invent on my first encounter either. At first Ben's vocals, then the unpredictability in their music. But holy shit, am I focking happy I eventually arrived at a moment in my life where Invent is the best band in history for me stsrting from 2020. I am totally in love with their ambience (noone does it better than them, that's just the truth). Their guitar parts are so much fun and beauty to listen to. If I someday pick up the guitar, I am learning a huge part of their discography. Last but not least, the vocals are so well combined with this type of music. It's all just perfection... I appreciate your channel dude because every time Invent drops something and I want to see the same level of excitement in someone else, you often come to my mind. I think it's amazing we can praise them here as much as we want and we are absolutely correct with all the compliments 😊

I went through the same shit at the beginning of my obsession with Counterparts,some stuff registered right away and some stuff took several listens to figure out lol.Greyview also didnt "grab" me right away.Had some cool aspects but didnt get me to come back to it until Heavener grabbed me by the neck and threw me down the IA rabbit hole.This song is also gonna take some listens but its definitely growing on me more and more

I can't believe how they nailed every chorus in all their songs tho!❤ ps: polaris-fatalism. Was so close to the album of the year to me
