A 2.0 GPA is abysmal and embarrassing. If this is true, Angel isn’t even trying. If scholars athletes are struggling in their academics, Tutors are immediately provided. Classes may be dropped. Let’s say that the 2.0 GPA is true. So what? (btw, I don’t think it is bc if that was the case, Mulkey would’ve benched Angel for the *entire* game initially and not just the 2nd half. It’s not like the GPA Po Po came to the bench and whispered in Mulkey’s ear alerting her “Angel has a 2.0. Take her out of the game NOW!” 😅 But I digress.) Back to *who cares* about Angel’s 2.0, if it’s true? As quiet as it’s kept, our DOCTOR may have had a 2.0 graduating from med school, perhaps the LAST in the class. 😂 Who amongst us asked or cared about the doctor’s GPA? We have to remember that Angel is a young woman trying to navigate through new found fame and fortune. Let’s give her some grace! But the truth is, there are different standards for women in general - and especially for melanated women. If it was someone who didn’t look like Angel, I don’t think folks would be riding her as hard. My $.08 worth.

This has nothing to do with her grades, and they know that. If it were related to her grades, she would’ve been benched before the game even started. This has to do with the disconnect with her coach. The coach feels like her head is not in the game. She’s traveling all over the world with her boyfriend, posting pictures all over social media with him, going to concerts and other celebrity events and she kicked it HARD to all summer. She's back to work and they're losing!! She’s not in the game, she’s getting paid millions in NIL and they’re losing. Coach M was like you need to take a break and get your sh*t together! Not on my watch and time! You're not playing until you get your mind right!! She probably felt like she was irreplaceable and she found out real quick that she’s not. That's it and all. She's in love, caught up in intimacy and photo ops with her man and it threw her off her square.

Too many people let instant fame get to their heads (including friends and family members of said people). They forget where they came from and who helped them get there and their attitudes change and they start to act like they are better than/above other people. This inherently brings drama because it not only brings about jealousy, but resentment and bitterness for those that are being treated as less than or who feel they weren’t given credit for the other person’s success. This is not to say that everyone who finds instant/overnight success have these attitude changes, but it does happen enough where due to being in the social media age it gets reported more often than it would in the past and becomes easily more overblown.

Angel Reese is a negative influence to her peers, her leaders, and herself. It is sad to see an individual with such talent, destroy her team with her horrible attitude and her flippant, sarcastic, troubled actions.

Calm down. She has her issues, but a negative influence?? That's giving her way too much credit. Those other young ladies in that locker room have minds of their own.
