I always love it when you start a reaction showing your wicked sense of humour. Gets me every time. 😁 Apparently, the cleaning staff didn't have much work to do, because all those ribbons had BAND-MAID 10th Anniversary. Yokohama (or words to that effect) written on them, and fans were scooping them all up to give to friends. Asami Haruna, and Midori, from Lovebites were there. They all souvenired a ribbon each.

Mark, this song does that to everyone. Great songs make an emotional connection between the musicians and the audience. This song does that. Kanami said she wanted to write an "anthem" song for the audience to participate in. She nailed it. Miku's lyrics and Saiki's singing and words sealed the deal. Misa and Akane's work put the song over the top. WOW!!!!!

Hey Mark, you could have put a tissue up to your eye. I've never shed a tear at a rock concert ever. Even during the Springsteen concert in 1980 the day after Lennon was murdered. If it was gonna happen it would have been then. You may need to bone up on the backstory about BAND-MAID then come back and watch this again. Fuck EMO. This is a very diverse Rock band that leaves no stone unturned. They take you all over the freakin Rock map. Peace. 3.68

Thanks again from Japan 有難う。I was there in Yokohama Arena with tears of joy and sadness to say good-bye to the ladies at last. The moving finale of the 3-hour-40-minute long show. (33 songs) A little off topic. I went to see Band-Maid's ACOUSTIC concert held in Shibuya on March 20. All of 14 songs performed there were amazing. The finale of the show "Daydreaming" was especially breathtaking for me. In addition to the beautiful singing, kudos to FIVE instrumental players ! (Saiki on piano)

You're so right about those bands' tired routines - I've never seen that with Band-Maid, there's no cynicism, they're NEVER jaded. When Saiki shout "we're here because of you", she totally means it (or she's the best comedian ever, and I don't think so 😉).

The connection between Band Maid and their fans is quite unusual. What other rock band will stop during a concert just to interact with their fans? Not shouting for cheers like typical rock bands, but literally put their instruments down to have a chat with several different people in the audience? What did I think of this song? First listen…went right by me. But the more I heard it, the more I liked it. It’s not Band Maid’s best song; however, it’s absolutely their best concert closer song. Just perfect. The last time I cried? The last time I watched “Endless Story” with Saiki tearing up. So…a few minutes ago

9:10 A lot of us Maidiacs interpret the lyrics as them saying to us "We only get to be here once every year or two, and our memories of those times carry us through until we meet again." Very similar to "Smile," "About Us" and "Memorable." How many bands write 4 songs about their relationship with their fans in 10 years?

Glad you enjoyed and felt the presentation of this 10 year anniversary concert finale song. I would love to come to Scotland for BAND-MAID's Glasgow appearance, however, the first and last time I spent a lot of time, money and effort to go to your beautiful country COVID hit and all had to be cancelled. What was the question again about the last time I...? I don't know, somehow I was still struggling with the typical reaction to this song. 😭😂 You may not have shed a tear, but your face in the last part, especially when Saiki's voice breaks after her last very specific lines, speaks volumes and underlines every word of what you said in the summary. They may not be your favorite band, but you recognize and appreciate what they do and what they mean to us. And for that, a big "thank you". 🙏🏻 ___________________ 「 _"完璧なんてありえない" / Perfection? Was there (with about 10K others) and it was electromagnetic, Po! And, yes, this song is an anthem (love song) for us from Band Maid, Po! Btw, Saiki added a new last verse especially for this show. As a side note, for 2024, Black Cloud is building a TM BETA-JMB5 MISA [BAND-MAID MISA SIGNATURE MODEL] and, as usual, it is "distressed." Unlike Miku's Zemaidis "Flappy Pigeon," her sig. model, which had a limited run of 50+30, Misa's 3-color Sunburst Jaguar body PJ5 with her custom PUs appears to be a build to order. As a bass player, I'm queuing up for one, and at the Yen to USD exchange rate, it is a bargain at $3,268, Po! The 2-man operation BC Boutique luthiers will be working overtime to get the Barefoot Assassin's bass to market, Po! PS, 😭every time, Po!

I can say The Police was the band that came mind when you mention wooden live performances, or so it seemed that night in Feb 1984. Maybe it was the fact they were playing the Charleston (WV) Civic Center to a full house (10,000 people) of hillbillies, I dunno, but the playing itself was perfection and they sounded great. We later learned there was a fair amount of tension among the band members at that time. Re-Flex was the opening act, a band that was popular for about a minute, and they played well, but we didn't know any of their songs except for their hit "The Politics Of Dancing" that we heard on the radio and MTV, and we didn't hear much else from them after that.

If Band Maid ever tried to give a farewell concert, neither they or the fans could make it to the end. If Budokan hadn't been cancelled I'm sure it would have gone down in Maid lore as their greatest concert (after Zepp Tokyo 2017). Yokohama would never have become what it is. The lockdown changed everything in ways that will take us years to digest. Band Maid is simply good at setting a roller coaster of emotions to music.

You peaked my interest - I finally looked up "EMO". Had no idea what it stood for. OK - I get it now!! Emo /ˈiːmoʊ/ is a music genre characterized by emotional, often confessional lyrics. It emerged as a style of hardcore punk and post-hardcore from the mid-1980s Washington, D.C. hardcore scene, where it was known as emotional hardcore or emocore.

I think this song was written for the lyrics to be pushed to the front first. The music was written to sort of take a back seat. I think it works to perfection. Happy people with happy faces singing an emo song... Honestly, I'm sick of angry old rockers, pretending to send big serious messages to the world. The reactions of these girls are much more spontaneous, there is something innocent in Japanese smiling faces... Anyway, I'm starting to collect my 8,000 pounds + something to drink...maybe if I come right away drunk, that's cheaper? And f**k your Scottish accent, you swallow half a word, I watch every video of yours 10 times to understand what you are saying...

@@markabusireactions👍Don't worry, be happy...like they are... English is not my language, so I'm struggling anyway. I'm glad you're not a Japanese who speaks English...Scottish or Japanese, not a big difference for me...at least you have "l" instead of "ru"

Their most EMO song? No wonder I find it meh. It was a lovely moment though, for them especially. It's a feels, in the moment vibe. A long time coming after the BS of the last few years.

"Meh"...with that bass work? Reconsider...for the way she slithers around that second verse like a greased-up otter...? If you're a treble man...no worries 😁

The bass work itself is top notch, as always with Misa. Nobody is letting themselves down on that stage. The song as a whole though just isn't for me though. It happens, even with these magnificent ladies.@@philproffitt8363
