Man I’ve always felt bad for Chernov, reznov always praised dimintri against Chernov. Chernov was always questioning the red army and how brutal they were. Coming to his death was worse, even reznov having some emotion as he picked up his diary.

For me Chernov is the perspetive of the West which never had seen something like the eastern front while Reznov was the people of the east that live through hell and wanted the Germans to feel the same, which is right in my opinion

I read the Book "The Fall of Berlin" from Anthony Beevor and is very raw describing scenes where the civil population suffer the wrath of the red army: loot, murder, rape, even against the jews finded in the concentration camp or his own womans who take from russian in start war. The russian like a brutal war machine

Jaeger viking ,this is true, however its also true that the German army had spent 4 years doing the same to the Soviets. From the Soviet soldiers point of view they probably thought that they were only treating the Germans the same way the Germans had treated them. And even then you can make the argument that the Soviets still showed the Germans one mercy, they didn't do what the Nazis had planned to do to the Slavic peoples, complete extermination.

THIS IS SICK! Music from CoD WaW are some of my favorite from any OSTs. Chernov's diary theme is absolutely one of my favorites and hearing that in the intro had me SOLD. What an absolute master piece.

What I find interesting is that this PC thing going on wouldn't start until around 2015 or 2016 and what intrigues me is in one map of WaW the Swastika is omitted which is a bit bizarre but then again that may be the international release of that multiplayer map as Swastikas were forbbidden from video games in Germany.

(Besides the godfucking grenade mechanic that is.😠) Now the only thing the game needs to be complete is if it could let us fuck one of those hot kreut girls.😁

This is what vanguard should have been instead for those long winded cinematic cut scenes. That beginning where the German looks down with the nonstop Ura! Ura! Just captures the nonstop retreat / morale of Germans.

This game has a karma system that changes this speech depending on the choices you make. Chernov will even praise Dimitri as a man of honor unlike the rest of the red army.

This game made my childhood and now I that I played it again I see how deep it was

Here's an in-depth tutorial: For all cinematics (except the Fallout 3 one) I use a controller to get smooth camera movement, but since CoD 5 is an old game, I haven't found a way to use a PS4 controller on it like I usually do, so I used my o.g old xbox 360 controller. You can do that, or if you don't have a compatible controller, you can do what I did with Fallout 3, which is to lower the sensitivity on the mouse heavily via the game ini files and use adobe after effects 2020 warp stabilizer to stabilize the footage even more to make it look smooth. I found the older versions of after effects don't stabilize really well, they must've updated it in the 2020 version. Now as for the game itself, you can use the in game console and manually write commands, but I did something else. You can actually find and edit a config file which basically contains the hotkeys for walking, throwing grenades etc in game, but replace vanilla hotkeys with console commands, which allows you to simply press a button instead of writing console commands. For example, in game the buttons 1 2 3 4 5 6 allow you to either switch weapons, throw grenades and special grenades or call in artillery strikes in certain missions, those buttons don't work for me in game because I replaced them with console command binds. The file is in: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\(your name) It's config.cfg So basically this is what I wrote in there: bind - "g_speed 3" bind / "devmap ber2" bind 0 "noclip" bind 1 "notarget" bind 2 "god" bind 3 "cg_draw2d 0" bind 4 "cg_draw2d 1" bind 5 "cg_fov 45" bind 6 "timescale 0.1" bind 7 "timescale 1" bind 8 "timescale 0.4" bind 9 "+actionslot 2" bind = "g_speed 300" bind ` "toggleconsole" So most of the time I didn't even need to open the console, because I had all my commands set to these ones, so in one hand I have the 360 controller and I just use the other hand to press these buttons on the keyboard to toggle commands, which makes it way easier. It might be a little difficult to understand without trying it out for yourself. Also something VERY important, no commands will ever work on any map unless you write the command "devmap (singleplayer mission map name)" and hit enter, this command allows you to cheat in game. And devmap is also really useful to just select any mission you want without actually playing through the game to unlock the mission you want. If you have any more questions just ask, I'm actually curious as to what future videos you are going to do since I'm out of ideas currently :D

Did you learn all this on your own or did you find a video or browse forums? The main reason I’m asking is because I’ve learned how to manipulate theater controls for many games that don’t inherently offer them that I feel I should make a tutorial for other people. STALKER would be my first one because I can’t find any video tutorials for them. And as a follow up if you never found out via video tutorials would you be willing to give me permission to use what you wrote here as groundwork for a tutorial? I completely understand if you wouldn’t want me to in case you ever wanted to make a video like that one day or some other reason.

​@@abirdwitharms The first two videos I've uploaded on my channel are of CoD 5 and Black Ops made like five years ago, it's been so long that I don't really remember how I know what I know now, it's just automatic, though the key bind trick I've learned from forums for sure, I don't think you could find that forum post now though. You can go ahead and use this if you want, i'd actually love a tutorial on how to make something in STALKER, damn I'd actually make a cinematic using that tutorial.

Most likely he's using noclip. And this is most definitely the PC version. And he did a very good job because it feels just like how actual trailers do it. In fact this actually is how actual video game trailers do it sometimes. This is how they get these shots that are actually in the game but of course through the POV of the character instead of that zoom in shot you see in trailers. Because they have to get the shot in the actual game by using no clip. He probably experimented with different levels of altitude for the camera built to get the nice perfect shot. From there the rest is editing magic.
