THEIR HOME STADIUM IS IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY?!
TNS (The New Saints FC) play in Oswestry (England) but compete in the Welsh Premier Division.
TNS are the most times winners of the Cymru Premier and in this video I saw them beat Pontypridd Town 2-0.

Get yourself up Bangor 1876 Sam, fan owned, fan founded and the story of the club after the shambles that became Bangor City is shocking. They also have the current shortest distance in the UK between their home ground and their nearest rivals, even shorter than the two Dundee clubs. Great that you’re looking at the Welsh league. Thanks mate!

Nice to see you cover the Welsh leagues mate! Get yourself to one of the big clubs like Bangor, Caernarfon or Colwyn Bay in the North or Barry, Abertstwyth or Haverfordwest in the south if you want more crowds.

@@webbofysgethin2127 not a 100% sure mate. Think the core fanbase have created 1876 due to what happened with Bangor City few years back. I think they play a couple of league below the prem at the minute so they’re not far from getting back.
Sam, thank you so much for all the videos you make about English, Scottish, Irish and now Welsh football. You are without a doubt the best youtuber with the best content about British football. Your videos about modest and little-known clubs for the general public are a real gem. Keep it up! 🏴🏴🇮🇪🏴⚽♥
That close to Shrewsbury Town in League One. The English Club that has won 6 FA Cups.... Welsh FA Cups that is(A record for an English League Club). The site of the former picturesque Gay Meadow home to Shrewsbury Town for 97 years 1910-2007. There is still a wall left from the old Wakeman End also know as the Cecil Duffel Terrace. Then of course the new Montgomery Waters Meadow built 2007 home of the first rail seated end out of the 92. I'd gladly show you around👍🏻 Other interesting things 67 times winners of The Shropshire Senior Cup(The oldest cup competition in the world). Arthur Rowley played and manged then and he's The English football Leagues all time record goalscorer 434 goals. 👍🏻
Great video Sam. Really great content, enjoyable 👍 Love hearing and seeing about different clubs you may not normally get to know about
A good list of Welsh Clubs to visit: Cefn Druids - (oldest club in Wales) Caernarfon Town - (best fanbase & stadium in the Welsh Prem) Colwyn Bay or Llandudno FC - 2 clubs on the rise bach to the Welsh Prem

What a lovely video! Easily one of your best! Clubs that defy borders? Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver in MLS. But seriously you gotta pop over summer 2023 and check out Canadian Premier League side Halifax Wanderers (because they are closest to you) or maybe spend a day or two checking out the three Ontario clubs Ottawa, Hamilton and York (because you can get to each of them via transit fairly easily).
Can’t wait for the Wrexham video, great work on the vids Sam.
Colwyn Bay FC! 🏴💜
I've considered making a trip to this club but never got round to it. Saw the old pre-merger TNS play against Levadia Marduu and KP Polonia Warsaw in UEFA matches at Wrexham a few years ago.

Come to Shamrock Rovers vs Derry on Sunday, title decider 1st vs 2nd and Rovers could win the title with a win

Hey Mate , first great channel love your visits and storys of football grounds ...I just wanted to pass an idea your way , that woild be a fantastic addition to you channel , and answer a question that im sure , goes through the thoughts of many Footy Fans..Thats the history as to why Football clubs wear the colours they do,, Why do Liverpool wear Red, why do Rangers wear Blue and so on , be great addition if you delved into these and be interesting viewing...Where did the black & white stipes come from at Newcastle or The yellow from Norwich...anyway just an idea , hope you find the question intriguing..
class meeting u ✌️
Love your videos, especially like this
Please ,get yourself down to Caernarfon town ,they used to play in the Northern prem years ago and as a Stockport County fan I have nightmares about our F A cup game but on a visit to the club I now visit quite regularly great atmosphere .
credit to the loyal supporters within or outside Oswestry(numerous titles) - the town should have a breakaway team to get back into the English pyramid(better off with far bigger support) - the New Saints should be playing in a town on the Wales side(no disrespect).
Great video. Welsh football is fantastic. Definitely check out Welshpool. They had Paul Merson and Chris Kamara play for them around 10 years ago for a game or two, was a segment filmed for Sky Sports on it.
The obvious Wellington Phoenix (NZ) play in Australia's A- league. Tough trip across 5hour time zone and 9h 35min flight for away game in Perth.

Great vid Sam, I use to coach at TNS now managing Llanfair United in the ardal north east league (tier 3) would be great if you could come down to a game 👍⚽️
Lovely place, Berwick.. Had some cracking weekends there supporting my team - win or lose.. Gutted when they dropped out of the league..!
A picture can paint a thousand words just like the almost zero support. The Tns owner has seen a gap in the market with Euro money and Tns being full time gives such an advantage the league is in need of serious help it has become a one horse race. Critical maybe but when you see it live you will understand my POV.
been waiting for this one!
where was the dancing in tbe streets 🤣 interesting tale of TNS as always on the videos. should come to Newport too, you got Newport County who play in the English league and you have Newport City who play in the Welsh league, you also got Lliswerry who play on the same league as Newport City (ardal South East) also based in Newport. 3 teams within 2 miles of each other.
I would say TNS would same as the Northern Ireland Premier League teams with in turn the NI Premier League would be equal to mid table teams in the Sky Bet League 2 as for the rest of the Welsh Premier i would say there National League North/South

Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. Llandudno F.C. Welsh League North at the moment is my suggestion but they have been as high as The Welsh Premier League in recent times. Keep Safe Sam.
I went to watch Man City play TNS at the millennium stadium in leg 2 of uefa cup qualifiers. We won 2-0 against them.
Would be good to see some more Welsh football, maybe at one of the more proper clubs. Unfortunately due to how TNS became established they are almost universally disliked amongst those in Welsh football.
Cefn Druids would be interesting particularly with the division between the Chairman and the community. He will gaslight you, but please do your research and report on the true problems within the club.
Cracking video
You should head to Llanelli Town in Carmarthenshire, have a pint in the Jock Stein Lounge and find out about his playing days here. No game until 4th November though, Carmarthenshire derby.
Nice to see my old friend Will Gibson on your vlog
nice one, i moved to wales three years ago my local is cwnamman utd ardel south wst
Great content..When you coming to Norfolk?...
Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland I can remember Inter Cable Tel Of Cardiff playing Celtic in The U.E.F.A Cup in season 1996/1997 I think it was in a qualifying round if I remember right When Cable Tel & Tele West where bought over buy N.T.L now Virgin Media they rebrand as Inter Cardiff & them merged with Cardiff Metropolitan University F.C how play in The Welsh Premier Division currently. I would say that The New Saints are the same standard as Auchinleck Talbot & to give an English League comparison King's Lynn Town how are currently top of The National League North I feel that is a fair competition. Keep Safe Sam.
90% of Chester City’s ground is in Wales. The Admin block is in England. The club is classed as English because of this.

The most Intresting team in regards to playing in different countries is Wellington Phoenix a New Zealand club that plays in Australia's A-League they are the only professional club in New Zealand and the only club in the world to play in a league in a different confederation as New Zealand is OFC and Australia is AFC
