The tragic incidents that happened on kpop last year, it is really sad.. Because of the hate that they received two female idols, Sulli (ex member of F(x) and Solist) and Hara (ex member of Kara and Solist too) took their lifes, they were really good friends and friends of another male idol, Jonghyun, that did the same thing in 2017 (bts actually went to pay respect on his funeral at the time), so 2019 is not a good year to kpop fans..

Haters sometimes can really hurt someone, and last year 2 idols suicide themselves because of all the hate they received, and a few years before, another idol suicide himself because of all the pressure about being an idol. Those were really sad events in South Korea, we just want this to stop. We wish our angels can rest in peace...

I don't think is correct to just simplify jjong's case with the pressure of being an idol. And this song doesn't really apply to him. I think mental illness being taboo and neglected in Korea caused much more harm than haters in his particular case (I'm not saying he never received hate, just to differentiate with the girls' cases).

Last year was a terrible year for korean celebrities: Sulli, Goo Hara (who was one of Sulli's best friends and died shortly after her), Cha In Ha, Jeon Mi Seon, etc... And even before that Jonghyun and Jun Taesoo... (May they all rest in peace) BTS knew and were quite close to Jonghyun and they attended his funeral. When i read the lyrics, I knew immediatly they were talking about how the hate that people spew can lead to the death of many people, including some of their closest friends.

I'm really happy to see people taking time to understand deeper the meaning of BTS songs. They are so much worth it. As for UGH, I immediately thought about this song while listening to ON: Suga's verse has a line "I don't give a ugh". It's a whole deep song behind a seemingly simple play of words.

I love how fully you get into the song and try to understand it. Literally everything BTS puts out has a meaning, whether it be the mvs, lyrics, short films etc. The appreciation for the guys just grows when you learn about all that. Yes, they also have amazing peroformances, choreo, vocals, rap, personality, looks, etc., but that's not the only reason we love them. They always have a message, so following them feels meaningful in a way.

I've watched many many bts reaction videos, but i really enjoy watching yours. If you liked Suga's latest Agust D, you're going to love Suga's Agust D: THE LAST.
