In my opinion, the old lyrics sounded like something out of a Jackson 5 song, which I initially thought was interesting. Hearing the new lyrics now, however, it sounds like an empowering chorus of kids singing to encourage all to stand together despite the circumstances. I think they both sound great. :) This one reminds me a little bit of pink Floyd's "Another brick in the wall" and Maybeshewill's part two of "He films the clouds". That last one especially.
