Yup my dad introduced me to Maestro Pandit Joshiji in the 70's , and since we are Relekar's descendants also. Dad must have attended his concerts too. Nama Mahne ......

Not to brag, but Panditji visited our home when I was kid for dinner after his extraordinary performance in our city. I was so scared or maybe respectful to even approach him when he was at our home. My uncle insisted me to stand beside him for a pic and I was little hesitant and Panditji pulled me grabbing my arm. That arm pained for quite some time as Panditji was a very strong person as we all know by his performance. I have restored those pics and preserved as a greatest treasure of my life. I was not aware of his stature in my childhood . But when I look back now, I regret that I did not know the value of being so close to such a legend.

Thanks to KZread ,and all extra ordinary vocal and instrumental musicians ,who make my boring job of patient documentation-ehr,all day long,bearable..I will never forget the day when I listened to Pandit Bhimsen Ji at few feet away,with only 7-8 other people ,in Berkeley ,Ca around 1982 ,when most people did not come due to heavy rains.Pandit Ji refused to cancel saying” hya saat mansanche kai ,Tey lamboon Aale us til ..( what about these 7 people who must have come from long distances)That was the very best concert I have ever attended . That is Bhakti! Physician from San Francisco area

What a immortal singer, performing in a live concert with such perfection.

The video must be of seventies. I had an oppertunity to listen this bhajan during eighties in a packed hall Rabindra Sadan at kolkata. The rendition of this song by panditji mesmerised the audience such that when the song ended, audience were stunned for a few seconds to encore. After so many years I am glad to listen the bhajan again. Thanks for uploading.

I had a cassette of this song and used to listen many times daily. This was before mobile age. Once I was so immersed in the song , I was very very blessed to have Vitthala dancing in front of me. This is the divine magic of this voice.

well, I him his ardent follower. But in this particular number, he was very conscious about his own self. If you listen to this, quite often, you might get i have to say.
