Spinning out from the chaos orbiting Post-Rock seethers Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra was formed as an outlet in which frontman Efrim Menuck could experiment with learning how to score music. It's since become a far more technically adept, majestic project, one that has been through more name changes than we care to keep up with. Striking a fine middle ground between aggression and melodic ambition, we filmed the band playing a sold out show at Camden's Electric Ballroom, and caught up with Efrim for what may have been the last video interview before the announcement that Godspeed! are to reform for another tour.
