Gimmick Puppets being disturbing and freaky is their entire aesthetic. It's meant to symbolize how unhinged IV really is when it's revealed he's a sadistic Number Hunter while also foreshadowing he's a puppet being manipulated by his father who became a deformed revenge driven monster.

Is Konami ENCOURAGINGthegimmick puppet lock? Some of those new cards have an effect to special summon one of monsters to field (like gimmick puppet of nightmares or whatever it’s full name is)

No they aren’t quick effects that only works if they summon nightmare on your turn

Gimmick Puppet has 17 or 18 1 card starters and 1 their cards you can Foolish allows you to banish itself to prevent targeting effects from stopping you meaning that with the field spell you can create situation where everything your opponent has will be useless.

My friend told me that I meme this into existence after 10 years of coping for gimmick puppet I think these cards are amazing and I’m so happy I’m like payne96 when he got volcanic support I knew nightmares baby would be abused one day it’s literally misc for gimmick puppet I’m glad I can abuse my creepy dolls! I’m go to a YCS now and my locals more often screw digimon, one piece , battle spirits , vanguard and all of em I’m so down let’s go! Puppet duelist let’s go!

The new White Woods archetype is going to be meta immediately because it fuses Albaz lore archetypes with itself through cards like Cartesia, Quem, and Dogmatika Ecclesia.

@@bloodarcher7841 This was just my first opinion based off its ability to make use of cards like Dusk Dragon because of Cartesia and Asteria. But Runick, Spright, and Centurion variants are better because you get use the best parts of each archetype that much easier.
