Sad to have missed "Theater Talk Live!" (I love adding the exclamation point, like "Peter Pan Live!" or "Grease Live!" ) I didn't know free events mean get there an hour early until the email a few days before. Next time there's a taping, I take the day off. Can't wait to see it on TV in June. Freddie

Yes we miss Theater Talk! I like 3 On The Aisle podcast but it's no substitute

Thank you so much, Victoria. I very much like "3 on the Aisle," too, but I miss our show. Oh, well.

I'm going to miss all the snobs they had on this show bitching about plays and musicals that the average person saves up for months to go see. Going to see a Broadway show is a special occasion but you'd never know it from watching Theatre Talk. RIP

I ended up here today because Herman Wouk just died and he wrote a musical with Jimmy Buffett, which was really interesting but never made it to New York at all. I wish he'd spent corporate money getting Don't Stop the Carnival here, Actually, I guess he still has enough mad money to do that, though. So much that was so beautiful. As to reporting on the audience reaction, let's face it - the nights the critics are there, even at 99 seat showcases, it's a fake audience - this is not just in New York. If no one's laughing at a comedy, someone forgot to tell the comped people why they're there specifically that night.

Unreal casting. Never mind what the show is about.
