A short film elegy by longtime friend and colleague John Heyn, who I created Heavy Metal Parking Lot with in 1986. This was a film he produced two years earlier, and it was over our mutual interest in vanished Washington DC and MD movie theater history, that we first bonded. I love this film; it still holds up, and I'm glad I can post it online again (my original posting in 2007 is in an obsolete format).
Originally shot and edited in 16mm. Talk about a vanished history...
