I watched their pre debut videos. Although each of all members had undoubtedly very hard time during the time, the members that I can't wrap my mind how the hell were they be able to be so brave is The8, Jun and Joshua. I can't imagine leaving your homecountry, and coming into an environment that is probably so pressuring. They do not even speak the language, and they have to adjust with the environment and people he is not used and did not grow from. And for the8, i can't imagine the pressure of him in trainings as he was the last member to join. The other members were way ahead of him in training. I just can't imagine how hard it was. And it's in such a young age.

This is my first time hearing his pre-debut story. I can't imagined how hard for him to stay away from his family being independent in a young age and living in a country far away. You came to faaaar our Xu Minghao, I'm so proud of you ❤

Yeah I once dream to be kpop idol. but when I thought about going alone abroad without knowing not only Korean but also English, also because of expenses and no guarantee of future, I really respect idols.

Thats the essence of sucess the8 in order to have a story to tell.Koreans bcz unfriendly culture you suffer a lot at young age but in life no pain no gain

I've only been a CARAT recently and I've admired all thirteen members a lot. Before I became a fan, I already had my eyes on Minghao and hearing this made my heart break. Although, I am very very proud of him because imagine going abroad all alone, just to chase a dream that you're not even sure you'll reach. I'm glad he persevered and reached his dream. In general, I'm very grateful for his existence because as of right now, he is the light of hope in my life.

I wish God give everything seventeen deserves they've been thru a lot 🥺🥺 I bawled when his parents gave him a gold ring to sell if incase he just get scammed 😭😭 it tear my heart so much 😢😢😢

I’m so glad it turned out well for him.

Minghao is the only child, and I only can imagine how his parents felt by letting their only child going overseas alone, not knowing whether the company that recruited him is a decent one or scam 😢

My heart breaks for all those kids leaving their home country and parents for persuiting their dreams. When I was younger I struggled sleeping over at friend's houses for a few days I can't even imagine what they all had to go through 😔 I am so incredibly proud and happy that they made it ❤

This is when jun arrived they were instant besties even though they argued all the time. Its very hard to be in a foreign country and experience unfamiliar things and knowing you have someone exactly like you eases the burden.

This is so sad...just seeing and hearing the8 sad and talking about his past breaks my heart :( i have always seen the happy side of him and never like this...he deserves so much! I hope the world is always kind to our The8 :) I can understand his pain because my family isnt that rich either but still my parents stay positive and give it their all best for me and for me to get the right education along with my younger brother...i feel as if i am a very bad kid to them as i cannot reach upto their expectations and it hurts and breaks me into pieces everytime it happens...but despite all that i am really grateful for everything we have...
