@@godofegypt4266 When I say washed out, I don't mean they'll be forgotten, I mean they won't be at the same level they are at forever because someone will take their place. All I'm saying is although Stormzy (in my opinion) makes better music and is the better artist in tunes and character, Wiley's achievement is still bigger I think. Pioneering a genre is big. Stormzy wouldn't exist without Wiley, he'd just be Michael. Would he be successful in music? Probably, not denying that. But Wiley provided that platform for many. Not to mention current UK Drill aswell, which is pretty much a mix between Chicago Drill and Grime. Stromzy helped put Grime on the map yeah... but Wiley put Grime on the table to begin with. It's not about being remembered, it's about legacy. Wiley left a bigger legacy.

this was the right move for wiley. seems like he's just misunderstood. he's not crazy... he doesn't have a drug addiction. he knows exactly what he's doing and he's manoeuvring in a way he knows can get him what he wants or where he needs to be. ngl, i was getting tired of seeing him lose the plot on twitter but finally, i understand what he's doing and i understand why. a few notes: zeze did well w this interview - i like that she made it to where we as the viewers can have a broader scope of wiley's personality. HOWEVER, wiley is not a little man. when he's talking or he's making a point, you be quiet so that WE can hear him out. stop cutting him off. wiley's a smart and misunderstood man.

An interviewer should never go: "let me speak". You're supposed to be there to ask questions and LISTEN. This is not a regular conversation. Interviews are for the fans, not for you to push your opinion onto the artist.

Tbh her whole style is based around being unconventional and parts of how she handles things is exactly why she is getting more recognition now because it is unique. We know we will get that on another platform. Having said that there were some points that she should have fleshed out rather than moving on to the next abrupt question I feel.

@@urbanchica yeah I hear you, but me personally as a Wiley fan, I came to listen to Wiley, and a few times there she cut him off when I wanted to hear his opinion.

I get this, but it's her show! She said she was tired of interviews where it's an interview and the same boring questions get said. She wanted to do it her way to get to hard hitting questions and if the combo goes in a way that steers away from it then why not.

And here lies the problem. His outlook is outdated the narrative hes pushing is outdated. Hes Narcissistic and immature. He can get cancelled because pirate radio has no relevance to the culture today hence why he can't upload his music and work with whoever he wants to work with.
