The Yellow Deli Twelve Tribes Communists - NehemiasWall.com

In this episode of Hebrew Voices, "The Yellow Deli 'Twelve Tribes' Communists", I sat down with two members of a Tennessee commune who keep the Sabbath, feasts, and eat "Biblically clean". As I enjoyed a delicious cup of their coffee, we discussed replacement theology, the verses they use to explain why they turn over all possessions to their community, and how they try to implement aspects of the Torah into their lives. I hope you enjoy this episode of Hebrew Voices and I look forward to reading what you think about this co-operative life-style in the comments section.

You do not want this. You cannot be saved by works only by faith. Yellow deli is not Salvation, Jesus alone is. We must repent and believe on Him. If by your means you try to get to heaven, you will not get there. They use 2 acts as there reason, please keep reading where Peter said it is yours to do what you will. The implications are you didn't have to give everything. God loves a cheerful giver. I have heard stories that the reason people get sick and almost die or even lose their children in pregnancy is blamed on their sin instead of getting medical help. This is awful teaching. but

HptmSteinhauer Check your scriptures. The Levites were not even considered a tribe, for a good portion of their history. They were a people specifically dedicated to the service of Yehovah. They were 'set apart', that is, bound to Yehovah. Levites back then owned no land of their own, but instead was simply provided land to reside upon. What they ate came from the bread offerings which the tribes brought to the altar. Their meat was offerings as well. So communal living could possibly be kind of like being a Levite back in the day, or maybe not. If you believe in or at least respect Yeshua, it is interesting to note that Yeshua would have been choosing his 'set apart' ones when he acquired the various disciples. 72 were sent out two by two so there were many more than most people realize. The 12 most people hear of were the cream of the crops, the inner circle so to speak, who eventually became the official apostles. So I guess the intended model is how scripture is viewed. 'Set apart' ones may, by necessity, thrive better with a communal lifestyle. Things bought in bulk are cheaper. Emotionally, there should be camaraderie as well as encouragement & support. I perceive the coming kingdom as being somewhat communal. Sure, if you build a home with your own hands, you'll live in it instead of you building it someone else. If you grow a fig tree, you'll eat the harvest. Yet, Yeshua has already promised that his Father's house will be a mansion with many rooms arriving fully built. 12 trees of the fruit of life on either side of the river providing monthly fruit. The perfect thirst quenching water, free of charge. Sounds like paradise to me. Probably, no one would even want to go outside the city to build or grow anything, that is, unless that's their kind of thing. So no farmers, no harvesters, no architects, no building contractors, inspectors, electricians, etc. So not entirely communal, but definitely different than our capitalistic society. All needs being met, as needed, sounds much closer to communalism than to the current capitalistic military industrial complex. Just saying. Shalom!

It seems that "personal property" is addressed in the Ten Commandments, though, isn't it?? In reference to not coveting what belongs to -- read that again -- "belongs to" your neighbor. If what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine, the line of what belongs or doesn't gets a little blurry -- though I like the motivation of LOVING behind every act of sharing. I personally like the idea of a communal space AND private space. I think families/individuals need both. A communal space or commons would be something like - a land mass in which there is a communal garden, or a communal meeting and/or eating space for sharing meals...etc. - but with privately-held spaces AS WELL, individuals and families still get a sense of privacy too. However, I remember the story about Yeshua and the man who asked him what he needed to gain eternal life, and Yeshua began listing the Ten, and the man stopped him and said, in essence, 'yes, I've been doing this my whole life' and Yeshua said, in essence, 'If you would be perfect: sell all you have and give to the poor and follow me.' it's in Matthew 19:16-23.

They have their own stuff, but if someone needs it, they will share. And they do have private spaces. The way we saw it when my family was there was everybody gets together 3 times a day to worship, and then, after each meal and worship session, they all go about their private business with their own families, which have their own things in their own rooms. They just share if needed. It's not like they don't respect privacy at all, they give each family their own space to do their own thing.

We love Him by loving His name and His energy, and confessing our sins, and walking with Him, and seeking love. and we can use this all as inspiration for the fact that Yahshua will have many branches and His kingdom will come to the Earth. and every knee will bow to Yahshua, and those of us who love Him now will be called to Him in the sky, filled with a magnificence of His vibration, and join Him in the living rulership of paradise Earth.

I was very interested in hearing about how they handle dissident behaviour or if there is a punishment methodology, but sadly it wasn't discussed. That's where one can really discern the 'creep factor'. Not to say there is one in this case, but human beings are so incredibly fallen, the subtleties of authoritarian abuses can be well hidden. Although I absolutely love the concept of this kind of living, I'm afraid I don't trust leadership at all. I wonder if those in spiritual authority have put in place a good system of accountability, where they seek to empower the 'lower-ranking' individuals in this specific regard. I wonder...

While there this community seperated me from my wife against my will , then sent me away after i tried to repent for my faults, after i gave up all my pocessions to the community to follow Christ as he taught in Luke 14 verse 33. This i thought undoubtedly controdicted Yashauhs command to forgive 7 times a day if a brother says I Repent.(Luke 17 verse 4) So after not being forgiven and sent away i became homeless and improvished as a result. Didnt Jesus say.."You will know them by their furit. I do hope they get it and become Gods chosen people because biblicly they have alout right but they have to obey everything Christ commanded not just 90 percent (Mathew 28 verse 20, 1 Timothy 6 verse 3 and Acts 3 verse 22 thur 23) I wish them alout of Luck, Its very Sad what i went through with them. Since many of their leaders teachings coming from one man and approved by one man add to the word against what the bible warns not to do in Deuteronomy 4 verse 2 and Proverbs 30 verse 6 that reasons away certain commands like obviously Luke 17 verse 4 and several more. For this reason when they say. "Our Master" is it Yoneq their leader or Christ, since apparently they do not heed Pauls warning in Galations chapter 1 verse 3 thur 10..? I hope they eventually do.

Isnt that sinful, to pick and choose or to implement ceratin aspects of the law yet ignore other parts? Yet they claim they are not under the law. This is kind of confusing. The answers are also slightly deceptive.

Nothing wrong with communal living. It is the lovebombing and then posing the question when are you joining them. There was a concealed pressure there pretty intense. Not to much about personal repentance unless you join the group first.

I know some of the comments saying communes are unbiblical. That would depend upon what constitutes scripture for a person. The Greek scriptures are full of commune living. As stated in the video, Yeshua's disciples were communal. Peter, Andrew, James, & John immediately left fisherman professions to follow Yeshua. A religious commune is like going to school full time. We can see Peter & others still fished from time to time in the scriptures after becoming a disciple, but only really did it for food, rather than as a profession. And if a person reads the book of Acts, communal sharing is apparent, though not necessarily communal residing. People gave money, sold spare land, possessions, etc according to what each needed. Only full disciples & apostles seemed to give up everything & wander with little to nothing, evangelizing. Not everybody who is a brother or sister of Christ is called to evangelize. Some families just believe & learn, others are called to more. Praise Yehovah!

It really doesn't because there are NO Hebrew words like "yashua" or "Yahweh" If you can actually read Hebrew and you were to read a codex like the Aleppo or Leningrad you would see our the son's and read it as Yeshua and when you come to the name of our Creator יהוה you would notice the vowels and read it as YeHoVaH.

The ancient prophets along with the first century Mashiach haTalmidim (Disciples of Messiah) were able to manifest what the ancient Hebrews would have called Ruwach haMattanhahim (the Gifts of the spirit). That is why Paul wrote that those he taught based their Emunah (Faith) on the power of Elohim and not the word of men. This is how it has always been. No one can lay claim to being Elohim's people without such a manifestation. That is one reason why no religious institution has the truth, despite protests to the contrary. There is much more to this group than meets the eye; Buyer beware.

The comments here are just about as ridiculous as what these guys are saying. These guys pick what they want from the OT and apply it to them. Then they pick through the NT and claim those are for them. The reality is Jesus Christ died for all. Those apostles He chose went first to the Jew and then the Gentile. Jews, for the most part, rejected Christ and His teachings. Gentiles were grafted into the vine. This vine is the vine of Israel. The vine of salvation through Christ. Funny how they pick what happened at Pentecost. They shared all things etc but this was merely at the first Pentecost. Christians have never been communists. The law and they way Jesus and His disciples worked proves that the churches sent money so the apostles could go on their missionary journeys. If they were one commune this would not have been possible. There were individuals that were wealthy. The Bible does say it is impossible for a rich man (financially) to get into heaven. Many wealthy people will be in Heaven...no doubt about it. The hard part is people will often not want to give up great wealth in exchange for the difficulties associated with following Christ. It is sad how many people will fall for this. If people knew their Bible they would never be duped by such ridiculous beliefs. The Bible is clear that all meat is good to eat. The account of Peter and the tablecloth of animals from heaven clears this up. To come up with much of this nonsense that they believe they must first reject a great deal of the Bible. This is not acceptable. Either God's word is true or it is not. Making stupid mess up and saying you are a Jew when they clearly are not. Saying that they must keep Jewish law when God's word in the NT clearly says this is not so. And it clearly says curcumcision and sacrifices etc mean nothingbto God compared to obedience ...it is just absurd on its face. Like I said...anyone that falls for this cult is pathetic. Look...ask them about the 12000 men from each of their supposed 12 tribes that are going to be perfect and then spew fire out of their mouths and then be destroyed for their efforts. Yeah...they believe this nonsense. Not to mention the difference between training children and physically abusing them like this cult has been proven to do. LOL! Infinity! The person most impressed with this groups nonsense is Satan! Every person that converts to this foolishness is taking steps away from Jesus Christ. It truly is sad! These people teach confusion. God is not the author of confusion...Satan is! And lies...Satan is the best...these people are trying hard to beat him! Sad...many of them are probably sincere and convinced. When judgement comes many will say to Him...Lord Lord did we not cast out demons in your name. He will say...depart from me you workers of iniquity...I never knew you (paraphrased). All you people will be tossed into hellfire. This is sad...and I hate to say that this will be your end but if I do not I would be doing you a disservice. In the end there are but two groups of people. These two groups will be determined by what you did with Jesus Christ. Did you accept His gift of salvation and turn from your sin and follow Him? Or did you reject His gift? The former will enter into eternal paradise. The latter will enter into eternal damnation.

we need to make Real Yeshua Community. Yeshua is with us and is concentrating His Energy, Attention, Magnetism and Spirit on our Endeavor to make His New Community Sprout on the Earth! It is always a mystery the way Yeshua wins our Hearts to Him, to focus all our attention, energy, resources and love on Him and His Way. This is a new energy in the earth right now, that we are inspired and our hearts are turned to Him, and we are in Hope and Awe of what He can do on the earth through us because we need His Head, and He needs our bodies, and minds, and hearts, and resources to be focused on Him and His goal for this to succeed. And He is at the door. Knocking and hoping we will open our hearts to Him. and open our lives to be the demonstration of His Play. Because we believe in Him. And long to walk in His Way and to know His Wisdom.

These are not the twelve tribes, they should change the name until they actually become the 12 tribes. Its very prideful to call themselves that and when Paul adressed the twelve tribes he was adressing those who were outside of the fellowship of Christ in order to win them. There was more humility.

Nehemiah, we are not all like this. Israel IS. I am of Ephrayim, and we are in the wilderness, (actually being protected currently on eagle's wings), doing Torah as best we can. I use the calendar you do. Repent is to SHOOB, do a 180 and return to Yahweh Elohim (Yahovah). For me, Yahshua Messiah is my Master who lead me back to Abba's ways. and no, Yahshua is not Yahweh, he is the son of Yahweh, and Yahweh IS the spirit. The trinity is the mystery on the whore of Babylon's forehead. Some of US are true. Some of US really did throw away every bit of leaven to meet Israel's God on Shabbat. Some of US know that buying and selling is forbidden on Shabbat, and have YAH's mark. Some of US wait patiently while the rest of the "lost sheep" learn to walk on the same path. We have a job to do, and that is to be watchmen on the wall. When our forefather's left Mitzrayim, almost all of them died in the wilderness, except Yahshua the son of Nun and Caleb. Many true Israelites do not know who they are and will choose to walk another path, and they will not get rid of ALL the leaven of Egypt. They too will not see "the promised land." I follow Yahshua (the Messiah). In over 10 years he has never lead me astray, but every church I ever attended was full of stumbling stones. Love you Nehemia(h). You are a true brother. Yehudah and Ephrayim, one stick!
