The one overriding feeling I am getting from this is how sweet they are to each other. It's so wonderful to see that after all the years of them being together and working together they are still calling each other "cute" and "sweet".

Funny story, in 2009 I was at the public library and was flipping through a magazine and there was an article that just stopped at. The XX, I thought it looked interesting and would take a look at it when I get home. Your songs have been a very meaningful part of my life. Like many of us has helped mend a broken heart. Seeing you perform live, you can just feel the love you radiate, thank you for everything and ready for the next 10 years ❤❤

I am absolutely in love with her voice, don't know why but I find her voice soothing and just beautiful

This is definitely one the best interviews I have seen of The xx, including the one on KEXP. I'm so happy to have found them when I was in high school years ago I even played Islands for a guitar concert. Looks like a lot of memories to think about since the first album. Its crazy that this album is ten years old. I don't bump the full album all the way through all that often anymore but XX songs are a staple in many of my playlists. This album, in particular, had a mood that as a teenager i immediately vibed with, and still do. This album is timeless imo largely due to its simple and stripped-down production. The lyrics and mood really speak for themselves.

We love the old albums no lie

I'd seen them for the first time in their Manila leg for their I See You Tour, and it was unarguably one of the moments when I felt truly happy in my life (others when I celebrated my birthday with my mom). Romy was just very sweet. She made sure that every presence in the audience matters. I still think about that eye contact that we shared when I made a heart gesture (because I was being a fan boy -- I mean, I waited for that moment ever since debut album. I missed their first concert in Ph sadly back in 2013). She didn't just acknowledge my presence but more of her saying: I see you, and somehow, as cliche as this may sound, my heart melted.

My favourite group, with also favourite songs of all time

I found yalls music back in 2011 when Kid Cudi freestyled over Intro and that album showed me a new sound i never heard before, and evoked feelings ive never felt strictly from hearing music Damn. I remember putting my homie Claude on it too (rest in peace). Thank you guys for sharing your magic and gift with us. Yall really made some beautiful memories in our lived just by sharing your sounds with us
