@@MjN0921 isn't a ps5 just a little bit more? I've had a ps5 and now a xbox s, but if you're a serious gamer i think a PS5 would benefit you more! I'm not saying xbox series s isn't good however.

@@enzo-_-5048 I live in south Africa and the ps5 cost 15000 rand and the Xbox series s cost 7000 rand yes the ps5 is better for gaming but the Xbox is in my budget as ps5 is more expensive in my country plus I really need to switch to a current gen console this yr as I won't get a chance in upcoming years plus I really wanna play the next gen games and most of them are on Xbox atleast

Coming from a ps5 and then picking up a series s as I found one at a great price I now have sold my ps5 and game full time on my series s now. Having a smaller compact silent console that plays all the next gen games perfectly is incredible. I dabble in and out of gamepass and buy games if and when I want digitally. It’s fast and allows you to start playing before the downloads complete which is great. I find this years exclusives better on Xbox and can try most of them with gamepass if I want to try before I buy. It’s a great little machine I nearly didn’t get but I’m glad I did.

Me too I sold my ps5 for xbox series s series s is all I needed for gamepass I love gamepass I can play old games and next gen games too it saves me money I don't have to keep buying games at 75 each game that's why I got rid of my ps5 games was to expensive

I already have an Xbox series X, but I am considering getting an Xbox series S as my extra console for my spare bedroom, where I currently have an Xbox one S set up. I have a 1080p tv in there and I only have access to the Xbox one titles. That part of the house has horrible wifi even with a mesh wifi unit (works decent for streaming 1080p movies and shows but not good enough for cloud streaming of games), so that would be ideal. Most of my games are digital (about 90%) so that would work out fine. Also a good system to take traveling with a portable monitor.

I own a 4k tv and I still don't notice the difference between the series s and the x. Maybe it's because I am using a 4k hdmi cable? I'd like to also add that if you own a PS5 then the series s is all you need.

Funny thing with me is, while I do have Game Pass and I do generally use it, lately I haven't used it outside of Diablo 4. I played Mafia DE and before that I 100% completed the GTA Trilogy. And tbh I still had a great time. Imo this console is good for anyone who isn't a graphics snob and can live without 4K.

Say what you want. But I've been owning this for over 2 years and I have yet to put it down. I mainly use it to play a few older titles I've missed from the 360 generation as well as a few indie games and games made by not so big studios that I've been into for the past year or so. Game Pass is great for the most part. I got every single Rayman game from the Microsoft store.

I have the one s and I liked it but unfortunately it stopped working and now I’m looking to upgrade to the series s. The design of the series s reminds me of the one s which will make me feel right at home but yet have a way smoother gaming experience

I have the black one as well!

I just bought Xbox Series S. and so far had great reviews from store and online.

emulation is also great on this system all u need is dev mode a one time fee of 20$!

There are 4 options when coming to gaming in my opinion: 1:PC 2:PS5 3:Xbox 4:All I personally prefer option 4 but am close to an xbox so am excited to get the best of all worlds!

honestly that is one of the reasons to buy an xbox itself. game pass is so worth it. yes its worth it buying without gamepass but srsly i would recommended it greatly !

I’m primarily a PS5 player, and I’ve never owned an Xbox. I recently got myself a Series S solely for Game Pass and the ability to download and play classic games. Which given the storage space, I think is the perfect option for someone like me. If I wanna play the newest games in the highest quality, I’ll stick to my PS5. But Xbox’s library of games is far better than anything Sony is offering right now.

Will it be future proof? At least till the end of 2025?

What’s everyone’s favourite game on Xbox series S? Not played Xbox in a while.

I want so much to like the Xbox Series S, I like the design and the mindset to be a Powerfull gaming device on a budget. But the Series S lack something very crucial to me... Physical media. Yes, I know, we are in a time where Digital market and The Cloud are the real deal, and I bought games on the digitql marketplace. But just having the choice of buy physical or digital was why I choice the Series X over the Series S... Be able to found games regulary for cheaper on my supermarket (in France) than on the Xbox market, it have no price... Well 15/20€ less 😁. So if the Series S have a blu-ray drive, with no doubt I bough one, but it is'nt.
