​@@cadenbarnfather1434 Motoblitz' biggest fault was being a Nerf brand blaster, really. Other than that, the underbarrel airtank shotgun, the bullpup configuration and smooth operation makes it a Joy to use. Even the price point is surprisingly good for what you get.

Something worth noting now that this blaster has been out for a while: If you want to buy one, you ABSOLUTELY MUST also buy a replacement plunger tube, like the metal ones sold on Out Of Darts. The stock plunger tube will crack or break in very little time at all--in my case, it cracked after probaly fewer than 200 shots, and some people have had theirs crack before they even get a chance to use the blaster. However, that change is really all it takes to make it a solid performer!

I just got back from Target, and did not see any cracked plunger tubes, and mine is working great out of the box, but that's just me.

If this is what they can do for $30, I can't wait to see what their $40-50 blasters can do. I'm a little worried about the structural integrity (especially because slamfire is awesome), but you don't come across new bullpups all that often, let alone ones that hit that hard out of the box. I hope my Target stocks'em, and maybe a side-arm from the Pro line too?

No prob finding one at target being an exclusive and available stateside online if they are outta stock. Mine was pretty damn accurate too w the stock front sight elevation adjusted right

While short darts are objectively better for performance, I'll never not think that short dart mags look anything but ridiculous coming out of rifle-style blasters with how thin they are.

Worker did make some half length mags that fit in full length magwells. If half-length mag aesthetic bugs you that much, you can still get them.

Just wish I could get it sooner, so many bangers in 2023, the Cynthia, Harrier, Mk-4, And now the X Shot Pro Longshot! 2023 may have 2022 beat already

Cannot believe the quality of everyone BUT NERF.

Another W for X-Shot! Let's hope we get some different skins! This one has a definite cyberpunk ish feel to me and I love that but I'd want to see more for variety and personalization at wars. Great review boss.

If you'd told anyone 10 years ago that X-Shot would make a better Longshot than Nerf, that was bullpup and hit 140fps nobody would have believed you. This is so cool! Thanks for showing it off!!! (To clarify, better 'stock' Longshot than Nerf)

I'm not usually excited by springers anymore, but bullpup, worker & dart zone compatible mags, adjustable stock, and only $30?!?! Yes please! I would probably buy all the catgirl skins too if they release that.

The flex on that grip is a dealbreaker for me ngl. I'm personally sticking to my Dart Zone Pro Max Dictator, but I'm glad to see a nice entry-level option for those getting into "Pro-level" blasters.

@@Lenevor From what I hear, the picatinny rail underneath the grip is (seemingly) fragile. Until more people get their hands on the X-Shot Pro Longshot, I'll stick to the Max Dictator, which I have, so I know that DZ blaster feels solid. I also know there are certainly more competitive options to the Max Dictator, but I personally don't feel the need to get another blaster when the Dictator feels fine for me.

@@pootispickle4482 I understand why it may seem like a bad blaster at first I used to not like it either. The weird ergonomics put me off and the reload is something I don’t like. However you get used to the reload surprisingly and the performance of a dictator when modded gets really high. Like 220+ FPS high

Just bought mine earlier this morning at a target just over 15 minutes from me. Have to say the bull pup design and paint job got me hooked. Not to mention having a considerably larger dart capacity than a nexus and max stryker and dont have to prime the blaster to insert or remove a magazine. Total win for zuru.

For 30 bones, this is going to be a good primary.

Great review, I got mine yesterday and had a blast putting it through its paces. I agree with everything you said in regards to its pro's and con's. I would rank it between the Max Stryker and the Dictator if you are comparing it to other mid-range blasters sold at Target. Now I want a mid-range flywheel blaster from X-Shot.

Love that you can get a 'pro' style blaster off store shelfs outside the US and canada. In Europe, we can't get dart zone so its lovley to finally get something

I gotta say, I do still very much appreciate you adding the full length dart section on the chrono. I know they aren't super popular in any sort of competitive scene, but it's nice to have the reference point. If it's not a ton of trouble, it'd be nice to continue seeing those numbers when available in the future. Awesome video, glad to see this blaster is everything we wanted. Just hope the relatively thing plastic sides don't have a durability issue.

Bought mine a couple of weeks back, they seem to have improved the pump grip and sights/ rail. Was trying to figure out for AGES what the little toggle, SUPER excited to learn it’s a mag release, if only for short dart mags (I’m only visiting the US, so don’t have all my short dart mags and darts to play around with right now)

X-shot is by far my favourite foam blaster company, wish they sold this in the UK though...

I bought mine today after seeing all the high praise reviews. My store had plenty in stock. This is my first X-Shot purchase and it did not disappoint. Great features and look. By far the most powerful foam dart shooter I own. Worth every penny of the $30. Hell, even at $50 I wouldn't complain.

These apparently do sell in uk, in fact it’s the first short dart blaster to sell on the shelf here in the uk im pretty sure.

I just picked one up from my local target! It’s awesome and I love it. I’ve been wanting to build a lynx but it’s out of budget. I can’t help but notice the similarities. The designers even hint at this with ORION printed above the mag release! This detail is awesome and love giving credit to creatives

Got one at Target yesterday, my 8-yo son was shooting it for an hour or so and had a lot of fun. The shorter reach between grips and shorter overall length is very friendly to youngsters. Compare this to the Nexus or Stryker and I think it wins hands down, build quality is similar but this looks amazing, and has features they lack: rifling in the barrel (OK maybe not terribly effective, I haven;t checked yet) two ways to drop short mags, don't need to prime before inserting mag. I'd like to be able to de-prime without dry-firing, but that required modification (opening up and removing a part) on the Nexus and Stryker too.

This has to be the coolest looking off brand blaster ever made!

20 bucks cheaper than a nexus pro, (which I consider dart blasting perfection.) compatible with most mags we already have, slam fire and that skin is SEXY. Um, I think I'm in love. After years of X-shot just rereleasing blasters, they come out in 2023 and start SWINGING.

Right now, it is officially the cheapest pro blaster. It is clear they are hearing/feedback from the foam players. Compatibility to the max with the special release magazine button and great skin. If I get one. Yeah, this one is for share with everybody. Top 3 less than $100 Pro blaster and mass produce. Higher for performance. 1) Trion 2) Nexus Pro/Max Stryker 3) Xshot Pro

@@edgardopereles9966 Oddly the MK1.2 is $85 I think it is. So that's a weird change in price. I'm a fan of the Conquest/Dictator, but those are oddballs. One other to mention would be the Aeon which has the advantage of being able to top off the magazine while it's in the blaster. Wish they'd make a short dart only version of it.

Just an fyi, on Reddit somebody posted a picture of the plunger tube which had cracked. Polycarbonate plunger tube. Willing to bet the community will have aftermarket fix for that.

Being in the UK, >100fps blasters have always been hard to get. Availablity (nothing off the shelf) has meant imports, which come with shipping and import tax. But this is now on shelves all over the UK. Yes it has shortcomings but at that price I will accept that. Lets face it, if you've never had a dartzone pro etc, I get the feeling you won't care or know. I mean, its less than £40. Compared to what Nerf offers at that price it is a steal.

Their microshot blows the good old jolt out of the water. Half dart compatible out of the box, and hitting 80fps out of the box, while being a straight pull prime instead of grip pull prime. Microshot is a better jolt for the same cost in every respect. Absolutely perfect for a backup hold out blaster you shove in a chest rig pocket for emergencies. Or for going old school silly.

I've got a Nexus Pro, Conquest Pro, and Deuce Pro, and recently modded a Rival Pilot into a short dart carbine. And I'm grabbing this thing on sight. I'm really happy X-Shot is making more stuff. While the insanity line looks kinda fun but eh, this thing looks fantastic and is an actual steal at that price. Here's hoping the upcoming lever-action lock blaster is similar quality, even though it's not likely to have "pro" performance. Can't wait to see what they do next in Pro blasters too. I think this thing dethrones the Nexus Pro as the entry point for high power blasting. A good bit cheaper (even if it feels it in some places), and a way better look. Not to mention the fun of being a bullpup! I'm so excited to get one of these.

And to be honest the state of the products in the hobby (Hasbruh offerings notwithstanding) have put them in a really great spot. It's just that no one will know anything about them without evangelists like Walcom.

I've seen another video of this post game and let's just say you get what you pay for. Great intro blaster to get newer players into competitive nerf, or to pickup as a loaner.
