i think david and gillian always understood the nature of the relationship between mulder and scully better than even chris carter did because he was always so insistent on keeping things "platonic." whether or not they ever eventually did have a romantic relationship these are two people who, at their core, deeply love each other and *would* do things little things that david and gillian wrote for them (teach the other baseball, move strands of hair from each other's faces, absolutely lose all rationality when they think the other is dying, etc.). carter was always so focused on avoiding romantic and sexual intimacy between the two that it's almost like he forgot there's more than one way to be intimate with someone. and i'm far from the first person to know that the emotional intimacy they were allowed to have as a result of not being able to be physical is one of the things that made their relationship as romantically tense as it was. the more carter tried to avoid the natural trajectory for these characters' relationship, the stronger the case for it became.

This show is literally one of the greatest shows ive ever heard of and seen. I grew up after the show had aired but i watch it now as someone who didn't grow up with the x files and im amazed at its unique creativeness and just ultimately the best plot in creation.

I first saw x-files when I was 10 years old, the episode "Home" was viewed when I was 14 and it made me very nervous, so that statement about under the bed? yeah I know I was 14 and probably should've known better, considering how fast kids grow up nowadays but back then we grew up slower I guess cuz I was afraid of under my bed for a while after that.

My last clinical rotation prior to graduation was reassigned last minute, and I had to end up staying in a super-rural Airbnb. Imagine my horror/delight as an X-Files fan realizing that the actual town of Home, PA was 5 minutes down the road from where I was staying! lmao.

They really did bring cinema quality to the small screen. Even the stories are larger than life. I liked the fact they didn't rely on CGI , as some of the best were what you don't notice. 👍 I was a religious watcher of the conspiracy episodes. So clever , even to today's standards.

I’m with you on this! I started a rewatch in February and now am at the beginning of season 8. Kinda dragging myself to continue, but I want to religiously rewatch each episode before IWTB and 2 revival seasons, which I never watch. And here I am on KZread finding interviews on the earlier seasons and yes, I feel like I wanna go back to seasons 1-5 again 😄 So good!

I don't care what anybody says... episode 7 of this season was AMAZING all around, and my absolute favorite to watch of the X-Files. its only competition in this regard is the episode that concludes Mulder's "abduction" in another season. "I can kill you any time I want... but not today."

I have to say, that episode does not get enough recognition. It is freaking amazing, absolute grade-A acting, compelling, fascinating. It made me understand the character in a way I had not considered. Even if it was all lies. It is the episode that really made me like the Smoking Man. Also I will complain about this here. What is with ignoring Chris Owens? He gets mentioned once in passing by Dean Haglund in the season 6 documentary, despite playing a character with a significant role in 5-6, not to mention The Great Mutato AND the Young Cigarette Smoking Man. Jeffrey Spender was written for him. He didn't have to audition for it. Carter and Duchovny love him. He deserves recognition and I just don't get why he is not recognized more. Maybe he didn't want to be. I respect that. But it's just .. frustrating imo.

On Leonard Betts the guy says he bathes in Hydrogen Peroxide, in the actual episode they say it is Iodine. As Iodine is reddish in colour, and Hydrogen Peroxide is clear, they are wrong, the actual episode is correct, it is Iodine. Try it, you might be suprised. What they are saying is that Iodine can cure cancer if you read between the lines. The lowest levels of breast cancer in the world is found in the Japanese as they eat a lot of seaweed, which has large amounts of ... Iodine...

That's the literal translation, yes, but the idiomatic English equivalent is "time flies." Also "fly" doesn't just literally mean flapping wings, it can also be synonymous with fleeing in a figurative way.

Three Thousand Believe ACTS 2 38 37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

X Files Fans, you don't have to wait until January 24 to discover for yourself the FBI file that Mulder has been looking for, file #62-83894, which contains UFO documents classified as Security Matter - X. Yes, ,Scully, there is a REAL FBI X-file of uneXplained sightings that was released by the FBI in response to a request under the Freedom of Information Act. Give yourself the gift of truth which you will find in the book "The FBI CIA UFO Connection" available at Amazon. The truth may be "out there" but it is definitely "in here.

"The truth about season 4 (Documentary"! We've heard and seen babies who are born with a tail in front ... (as the writer(s) of the X-File(s)and the other spokesmen in this video), also we've seen in some other movies about the "truth" that some of the front-tail-s men want to shift and hide it on their back ..., but we've never seen a baby to be born with such a tail. So what this documentary's truth is about?
