and more fresh and genuine group as well. FYD were great but they tried too hard and it showed, it made me feel sympathetic, but I was fascinated with 1D and I liked that feeling way more tbh

I think Matt has a beautiful voice and he's cool and individual. He doesn't remind me of anyone and I think all those qualities is why he won. Of course, One Direction was the hugest success of all the xFactors but I understand why they didn't win and there probably wasn't a lot of support from older, more traditional people.

While I kind of get what you mean, boybands are not traditional enough? ;) But yes, for many adults someone like Matt seems like a more obvious choice and as he is a rather handsome looking young man he has been a potential danger to 1D's voters as well - he kind of fits both sides, probably the reason why he won. I'm actually not that fond of his voice as many people are. But that's just me. :3

Many also didnt vote for 1D in the final because they didnt want Simon to have another win. He’s not the most liked individual

His first album went platnum, he's released a second and it is taking the UK and Canada by storm.He's been nominated for Best Live Performer on Norbins-Robbins and he is performing tomorrow for sellout crowd at MFest and he hasn't even had a complete tour of USA (but took LA by storm)...I could go on!!! He's amazing!

Yes. It doesn't seem to be hurting him, in fact he isn't restrained from doing the creative work he intended to do all along. Contracts are no more a guarantee than not having one that you will succeed. In many cases artists must walk away from situations which are not the best for them. He has staying power and talent. Not worried for him. But thanks for the info anyway.

I think they let him wear it on the first one so that from that point on they could "polish him up" and people could get a sense of "look how he is improving? Isn't he doing so much better?" Of course I love him no matter what he wears, but it seemed like a clever maneuver for Dani to do it. But who knows?? haha

why does everyone want Matt to take of his hat or not close his eyes when he sings? Am I the only one that prefers him like this? He is unique and has a great style. I do not want the people or producers to turn him into any other solo artist. Besides it isn't about confidence it's about ability. His ability to sing is amazing and should be judged on that. I hope he doesnt become an arrogant prick in the future because we told him to.

It's actually Danielle with E not A.... and yeah...she's Liam's girlfriend, they met on the x Factor when she was a dancer, and yeah Liam is one of the members of One Direction, and yeah, One Direction is a Simon's group on the x Factor, and yeah Simon is on of the judges! All clear honey?

I agree. All the German casting shows are just pure shit and literally nothing comes out of it. In the beginning they weren't all that bad, but EVERYTHING's staged nowadays and Dieter Bohlen has crossed the line from giving critique to just being plain rude a long time ago.
