As much as a fan of The Real I am, you could definitely tell that Amanda was holding back from what she really wanted to say. I can definitely say that the ladies often tip toe around sensitive topics whereas Amanda plows right through them. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

The Real has a major issue with truth telling. We can’t even watch a raw imperfect moment on their KZread channel. They won’t allow a hint of controversy to be posted. The Bert and Ernie conversation with Tam and Jeannie was NEVER SHARED, and so many other “controversial” and interesting conversations. It’s irritating how censored these ladies have to be on a show called The Real.

hanks Monet! Your show just keeps getting better. Seeing you young people speak out and march, gives us all hope for the future. I watch most of your shows Monet. This is one of your best episodes. YES! It was always gonna to happen. Juneteenth Yes! The separation between rich and poor is only gonna get worse. Platforms like youtube will become more popular because we are all gonna have to struggle to pay for internet and can't pay the fat cats at the networks that restrict the viewpoint of their boring idiotic shows. Amanda Seale's book sounds like a book I might buy and read. I read Michelle Alexander's book-New Jim Crow: Mass Incarcerations in the Age of Color Blind, years ago, before it has been spread across the media. If you can ever get a chance to hear Michelle Alexander lecture, DO IT. But it is not enough to spread an incredible book title across the media. We white folks don't understand what it is like to step out the door in Trump's America and before. Knowledge is power and is the great leveler, but all the money in America is going to policing. Only profit matters in America right now. Let those big words fall right out of your mouth Ms. Seales. We want to hear you and see you. I don't understand how it feels to be Black, but seeing young people standing together, holding hands and unifying. You inspire older folks who family were immigrants, to stand with you. You give us hope for the future and we support you.

I seen the video with cane and his intentions from the beginning was to attack her.... He could have done the interview and checked her on an more intelligent and precise way than he did. I understood some of his points but he did not sell them well. Plus most of his questions and statements sounded more like his opinion instead of the Black community.

I do support the cause 100% and I’m also happy the celebrities are talking about this subject. My only wish apart from change and justice is that the celebrities speaks more about the looting and the violence to encourage people to protest peacefully. The small business people has suffered enough lost with the pandemic situation. The don’t deserve people breaking into their business and stealing and destroying them. This situation just gives authorities an excuse to use their power. Come on people more common sense. Violence never solve anything It just makes it worse.

It is very sad that the business are losing. Unfortunately change is not comfortable. Movement is not slient. If you look at all the turning points in America it happened through unrest. From the Boston Tea Party to the StoneWall riots. If protesters walked through the streets with signs and went home there would have been no movement with this case.

sandra Jones I agree. So many ppl are like “black lives totally matter BUT omg property damage is SO unethical 😨” and it just exposes how deeply entrenched our society is in materialism and how it’s more valuable than human life and how the role black people play in that should always be respectful and compliant, when that only gives the oppressors free-reign to abuse us. George Floyd and countless others died while complying, afterall. Black people have been peacefully speaking on our issues for ages and we’ve just been gaslit, dismissed and ignored. When the things those who hold the most power ACTUALLY value the most (ie capital) were threatened, things have begun to change.
