I am debilitated in revising. I have had a writers block regarding revising most of my adult life. Just recently I had a breakthrough, where I had an hour or two focused revising - the process of reorganising sentences, replacing words and constructions. It felt like a dormant area of my brain had been reactivated. It only lasted as long as I stayed in it, which I had a sense of during. Sure enough it stopped when I chose sleep over continuing. I still have not managed to recall the routine.
