Some of the things he said aren't accurate. Only one working movie car survived the movie. The other was totaled while racing in the movie. And there are street legal MP4s other than his. Kit cars are still available. After the movie the Interceptor was sold to a man in Tennessee. After a long legal battle with Dodge he was able to keep the car minus the drivetrain and a few secret components. He painted it red and dropped in a V6. The rearview camera was actually a feature in the Wraith car. He kept it for several years before he sold it. Last I heard it was in a museum somewhere. The man from Tennessee's brother was a friend of the family and when he heard what a fan I was of the movie he gave me a picture of the red Wraith after it was redone. I still have the picture 35 years later.

Me and my brother in 80’s watched this on VHS so many times till our VCR finally decided it’s time to end this and ate up the tape, so to say I would love to own one of these with this attention to detail is a understatement.

I tell everyone how great “the wraith” is, one of my fav movies of all time, the race scenes in it were shot so incredible for an 80’s movie, all practical effects and real world shooting techniques too, and you feel like your in the grill of that car whole time watching it, soundtrack is great too, right up there with transformers 86’ lol

Love that car. I’m 51 years and that was one of my favorite movies back then.
The sound was incredible (also explains how they stuck two turbos on the pace car's I4) but the real best part of this was hearing Jay talk so excitedly about the car. You could feel that enthusiasm through the screen

Wow just wow! I remember I was 7 and seeing this car in the movie The Wraith and I was obsessed with bad ass cars ever since. The owner is a legend in my eyes for having this! Everything about my childhood in the 80’s now gives me goosebumps.
One of my favorite movies as a kid. That car is beautiful!
"Damn this shits got some kick!!" " we're gonna beat that guy like a red headed step-child!!"😆😆😆 CLASSIC!!!
That car is EVERYTHING. Till this day there isn’t another movie car that comes close!
The things some people can build and build them beautifully is honestly stunning and this is absolutely one of them. I was also immediately reminded of the Jaag but was surprised that the Jaag was influenced by this and I have to mention two things, one is that interior is very, very well done and two that colour I amazing
Looking at the thumbnail, I thought someone got their hands on the actual concept car. What an amazing job.
I love how it looks like an old 80s futuristic car…but it still looks futuristic beyond 2023. That’s not an easy thing to do, to look dated and still futuristic. What a beautiful build. I always tease about Chrysler transmissions being atrocious, but I’ll be the first to say they’ve always been the brand out of the big 3 that pushed the envelope in their products (Omni GLH, neon SRT 4, Ram TRX, etc). They never forgot the performance part (except for the k car lol)
Beautifully done job! If you told me it was from the factory I would’ve believed you. Most kit style cars/home builds have tell tail signs and it’s always with the wheel well/wheel size that doesn’t have the appropriate measurements. This looks perfect
The original car was made to be aerodynamic to test a concept turbo 4 cylinder that was very powerful back in the early 80's.

WOW completely unthinkable !Who would have thought after all these years after us all watching the film we would actually witness this . The two most legendary iconic cars in 80s movie history / Back to the Futures Delorean , And The Wraiths PPG Pace Interceptor .
I saw the Porsche interior in the thumbnail and thought it was some sort of joke. What a cool car! Very glad I was wrong.
I only saw the movie about a year ago, but as a car guy instantly knew I was watching a classic. The car is awesome and kudos to this guy for bringing it to life.
One of my all time favorite movies. My father and I would watch it over and over. RIP Pop
Man the level of craftsmanship shown here is absolutely insane. That car looks incredible and the exterior and that Porsche interior mixed with the Audi seats go so well together. Amazing!
That’s really cool because I’ve never seen anyone recreate the Wraith car. I almost pissed myself when I found the movie on DVD because I rarely ever met anyone who knew what the Wraith was. I knew the car was a prototype but I never knew what it was based on. I always thought the Jaguar XJ220 looked similar and as a teenager in the 90s I had an XJ220 poster on my wall

What an incredible build, the attention to detail is staggering! I used to love The Wraith when i was a youngster.

I've always been a car guy and built over 40 restorations/hot rods and this is BY FAR one of the best movie recreations I've EVER seen. BRAVO to the builder, his pride shows in his work and how he talks about it. Congratulations and can't wait to see what else he does.

This guy obviously has mad fabrication skills. In no way does it look like a custom kit car. I’m going to definitely subscribe to his channel.
Jay showing off this build is incredible! He is proud of things like AC and windshield wipers. His all about future tech that exceeds nascar and F1 tech!!!! He's a perfect reminder to every, myself included that in the end, your success and happiness can only be judged by oneself and not others, with some additional reminders however. One must be fully committed to all your truths. lies, and delusions! That's not as easy as you think. Its one of the few reasons why I can respectfully tip my hat to Jay here but at the same time why, even if I was homeless right now, why I wouldn't be remotely tempted to trade lives with Jay, if it meant I had to walk on this planet like Jay over here, being ignorant as hell, with his ridiculous delusional thoughts that he has been feeding himself since the age of 5. That's commitment for sure! BTW, my apologies if I come off sounding obnoxious. This simply is just my candid reaction and how I see it. I guess I was triggered by his delusions haha!
Wraith was one of my favorite movies as a kid!!! Glad this car exists!!!

The cinematography in that movie has a lot of interesting aspects. One example would be the crash scenes where a car is comletely obliterated, but the dead body hanging out of the car looks like the actor just walked out of the powder room, layed down in the car and closed his eyes, and the director was like "action". No blood, scrapes, or anything. Ah, makes me chuckle. "You can't stop something that can't be stopped" - Sheriff Loomis 😆
This is some darn good quality craftsmanship! WOW
