The old flag has the British flags because being a former colony of the UK. The other flags are the ones of the Dutch communities, one is flipped so that there's no one being angry about them having the best spot (the middle, which is the first one you see, also the reason why Mystic is the most popular in Pokémon Go).

On the old south African flag, the reason it's like that is that the land that is south Africa was once a British colony in the south, and had two Dutch descended republics, if you could even call theme that, in the north, when the British annexed the land the dutch descendants didn't like it so after a series of wars that the British eventually won, the two republics were given autonomy in a new"union of South Africa"the two flags in the flag are the flags of the old dutch decent republics

My favorite flags are from the Middle East, specifically Jordan and Palestine.

When I first heard the Nepalese anthem, I became obsessed and couldn't stop listening to it because it's sounds SO GOOD! Not only they have the most unique flag but they also have the best anthem! Nepal is truly one of the kind

The old SA flag doesn't just have the Dutch flag but different in there twice, well, it does, but they are the flags of the Oranje Vrystaat and the Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek, the two largest of the many Boer republics that were founded after the British takeover of the Kaap Kolonie.
