technically it makes some sense, tanks have lower speed on asphalt as steel on asphalt dosent provide much grip and tracks can simply start slipping. Thats why ruber inserts were created for tank tracks apart from not damaging the roads

@@leevin7546 it will vary from from vehicle to vehicle depending on the power plant, torque, driver but i certainly seen t80 tracks sliding with sparks and drifting on asphalt too. Concrete is actually way better for steel tracks in terms of grip for example.

@matthiuskoenig3378 Depends on the context of the nerf. Like the T25 for example. They remove the stabilizer and raise the BR of it in the same update. Meanwhile the BMP 2M gets moved up and given technology it doesn't even have IRL. The fact that almost every other update a sherman or the Jumbo is getting pushed higher and higher till they are gonna be unplayable. The nerfs they hit the Losat with. Then the most recent nerf to the F-16 while another Russian jet gets an improved engine. Now to say it may not be directly bias. Though a lot of stuff in the game they also do seems to somehow give advantages to other nations like Russia, China, and Sweden.

Shocked M735 hasnt been brought up yet. You know, that 105mm shell that got changed based on a report from one guy who did the math wrong (one of the moderators on the Forum straight up said the math was wrong), and despite admitting it was incorrect they still havent touched it for about 3 weeks now? I mean seriously, its really hard to think that bias doesnt exist when they nerf a NATO vehicle at the slightest inclination that it could be nerfed, and yet require pages of documents verified 3 times over to get any sort of corrections that might buff the vehicle. I dont know if its true or not but Rheinmetall straight up told them, supposedly, what the PUMAs sabot weighed and they just ignored it and used their own value. Im sure there is a possibility that Russian tech gets this treatment too but I dunno what goes on in the Russian side of the forums.

Have you used all of those backups on the m41d yet? Also i hope youre doing better man

US has a lot of fighters with good bomb loads though, so they tend to make up for this AA coverage gap by having more of their own aircraft. (Makes it damn hard to claw back a win if the other team gets air superiority, of course...)

I have to dookie dent my SP to spawn a reactionary plane, and then I have to dookie dent some more to return to the ground in some death marked POS to do what others can simply select in their SPAA tree in ground battles. Every other nation uses US mainstay planes at same BR to go with their own planes. Matches are sometimes -more like usually- filled with P, F, A, or B plane numbers followed by an alien symbol or dartboard dropping the biggest possible bomb. Multiple nations also have the principle US SPAA at the same BR and or some Walmart brand version, really driving home the bias.

T69 (M8 Greyhound with four M2's) M2 Elco B-6 T59E1/M15 Special/M34 T10E1 T85E1 T77 T65 (single Bofors stretch Stuart) T22 (3inch autoloading gun with proximity shells) T52 T100 T56 radar Duster (should just be an M42 upgrade to make the US M42 unique and separate from the M19 and all the share Dusters) M114A2 MIM-46 Mauler T249 Sperry DIVAD XM246 M113 Liberty FAADS HMMWV Avenger HEMTT Centurion C-RAM 25mm Bushmaster Humvee (because 5.x R3 bad joke to match the rest of the future BS) ... You can see there is more if you look for it.

I finally realized why he gets bombed so much. When I play CAS (which is rare) I look for 3 things, movement and area where I died and objectives. 90 percent of the time spook fits at least 2 of the 3 criteria I look for.

I just assume any light tank sneaking around by itself is a decent player and go for them, but only if I have multiple smaller bombs. Wasting a 1000lb bomb on 1 guy is just stupid.

You might try KPZ70/XM803/MBT70, it was nerfed horribly despite being already mediocre at best. (No armor+280mm apfsds and frankly useless HEAT/ATGM at 9.3 HMMMMMM)

9:08 had my own moment like this and I wish I had the clip so badly. I was using the vickers mk1 with the actually decent (for sabot) round and side shot a marder, like directly in the side where the engine would be not a glancing shot. The shell ricochets THROUGH the marder doing zero damage to it while leaving me absolutely gobsmacked

I think the reason Spookston gets bombed a lot is that he plays agressively so that he is in areas that planes usually look? Also he spots more targets than the usual player and fires more often, meaning there is a larger chance that planes see his muzzle flash

I'm genuinely scared by that tank Encountered three times while being in my RISE P (it was a full uptier every timd),needless to say the third time i just launched my smoke grenades and retreated

I love the fact at 8:58 you hear his smoke detector beeping right the perfect time with he destroyed the enemy tank

I'd like to see a video of the 2S3M or any of the other artillery vehicles using onlyor mostly proximity fuse, the damage isn't always consistent but it's possible to get kills from over 1.5km or more and over several hills

6:00 If you had render terrain distance on super low, you can basically see through rocks from super far away lol, I shot like 10 shots on someone in TPV before I realized there was a rock

I'd love to see all the M41 variants (if they aren't the same) because I've recently tried to go up the german line and the KPZ m41 has me stumped. I do get those magical 8-10 kill games but it's not as consistent because the shell types just refuse to do any damage sometimes. Had to shoot a t25 about 5 times in the ammo for it to detonate today.

@@WastelandWanderer1216 It does, but it's about as useful as APDS, yes it does a bit more consistent damage, but its still 76mm HEAT that detonates on bushes. And I don't think it even has that good penetration at about 250 or less, meaning it's basically better to use the APDS in most scenarios, though I take 15 APDS and 15 HEAT just in case.

The US M41 is basically like the german one, except it doesn't have the HEAT-FS and smoke grenades, thus having a lower BR. I spaded it years ago and i can say that the American M41 is a menace if used good,the APDS is not very great so the APBC (which previously was the AP) is the best choice in my opinion

i find it so annoying that the "early cold war/late WW2" US vechicles have no stabilizer. Its like if they had it for most of WW2 and then engineers decided "nope, fuck that, we do not need those, get rid of them" at the time where it actually would be really nice to have. And yes, i know that historically it was due to doctrine change and new gun desings but come ooon.

It’s also a different type of stabilizer before and after the no stabilizer era. Before is a 1 axis stabilizer, after is a full 2 axis stabilizer. The technology is very different

It's because Gajin couldn't be bothered to look through historical American documents to get the tanks right. When they do they get rid of the stabilizers because it would make them better than Russian tanks. Also Gajin really just hates American vehicles.

@@aiedenoldstien9751 Thing is that the fact that something was tested on a machine does not mean it was ultimately fitted. M26 is an example. While it was tested in prototype the deemed it unnecessary due to the way it was supposed to engage.

8:08 The worst part of that bug report is that the source used is not even valid... and it's not because it's "some older model" with worse turret traverse. From what I've gathered, the M41 and M41A1 both have 36º/s maximum turret traverse, it's just that the M41A1 used a much smaller system and could then store more ammunition. No the issue is preciesly with the keyword "maximum". The source that states 24º/s is actually saying the *minimum speed* of the powered traverse, as it is specifically denoting the "maximum time required to traverse 360 degrees by power". Speed and time are invertly proportional so... "maximum time" means "minimum speed"... And you know the even worse bit? I made a topic on the forum pointing this out, and *the technical moderator that had made that bug report* noticed it and sent a request for Gaijin to reverse the change, admitting his mistake. After nothing happened for a couple months, I made my own bug report pointing this out and providing my own sources stating 36º/s *maximum turret traverse*, and the response from the devs was to just ignore the fact that their source was faulty.

After playing the french, who seem to only have solid shots, the "trick" is to shoot THROUGH the tickest part of the armour that you can penetrate to create spalling. So its a question of what is the thickest part of the enemy my shot can go through. This is the direct oposite of APHE where you have to shoot through the thinest part to penetrate and explode inside. That is also the reason why solid shots have higher penetration values. A good rule of tumb, is to shoot through an angled, tank, or pen diagonaly. Its a different style of play. Also the pattern of spalling is a cone from the entry point unlike a sphere as the APHE. If you want to take this to an extreme, try the AMX50 Surbaissé: 120 mm cannon with 300+ pen with a autoloader (6sec) and 20 rounds in the chamber, that will leave some holes :D
