I would like to point out that you can actually control the direction of Darkseid's Super. My usual tactic was to make the beam go past the opponent and when they move in to try and punish me I make the beam do a 180 and hit them in the back.

So i wanted to check things out. Now while you cant combo into Solomon Grundy's super with most normals, you can off of back 3. And if youre using interactables, 1,1,2 into an interactable that bounces allowing you to land a back 3 leads to a decent 56%. Sure its situational and youre better off using meter for combo extensions, its just something else that i figured could be noted. Saves you from having to hit it raw.

Something I love doing with Darkseid’s super is intentionally going over them, and then waiting for them to whiff-punish, and then coming back just to hit them in the back and surprise them.

3:55 I want to correct you on an error. You actually can combo into Grundy's super move. If you land a B3 and mash the super, you can then leap up at the opponent and grab them out of the air. This also works if you do a BGB.

There is actually a third way to combo into it. He can do it from his b+2,3 and it can even be done mid screen. However, it is VERY hard to do and is a little easier to perform on the corner. You have to activate the Super at the fastest possible time after the string's recovery and then you have to jump forward and grab instantly. I am not exactly sure if it is character specific but it works. I've actually known this for about 2 years from messing around in practice mode but thought that it wouldn't be important since it was hard to do and since his meter is better used for extending combos.

I think it was fine and makes up Harley characters that she is weak without a weapon so she tried to fake out ppl and setting bombs while distracting them

The unique thing about Darkseid’s is the fact the you can control the direction of the beam

Fun Fact: Did you know you can use the Left Analog stick to maneuver Darkseid's Super Move?

In all honesty I think my issues with injustice/recent mk games that I had to get used to is that mechanics seems a bit stiff and not fluid. Meaning your combo has to hit for it to kinda continue. It has its pros and cons but it’s a weird feel coming from games like DOA, tekken and so forth where you continue your combos if you make contact or not

For me personally I enjoyed Injustice and Injustice 2 but when there was that period in Injustice 2 where it was pretty much zoning every other match is what got me to drop the game but it is a fun game all things considered.

I hate that game souly because I first played the game and the first 7 players I fought zoned me out so I just deleted it right away😂😑

Speaking of Lex's super, I discovered a glitch way after the game died that never got coverage. If you do forward 3, Jump 3, then super, after the first hit, the super would reset into its 2nd hit unblockable and do much more damage than it should

You can guide darkseid's omega beam in his super once activated, moving it overhead, behind, below, and all across the screen... although I don't remember if this is by default or the "Maximum Omega" ability was a contributing factor to the guiding of the super.

If Grundy got a mkx raid boss armor, his super would be way higher up in the rankings

I have noticed that absolutely no one has ever talked about nightwing in injustice 1. He was my favorite characters in the game yet no one says anything 🥲

Nightwing is basically jack of all trades which is why ppl barely talk to him because there's no major upside or downside that he has

There's one way you can combo into Grundy's super. It's with interactables that makes the opponent bounce back. For example, in Atlantis. J2, 112, Throne Interactable, B3, Super, Air Throw. It's situational and requires the right positioning of the interactable mid screen, but that's a true combo

You can control Darkseid's super with the analog stick if you didn't know and you can even cross them up with it so it's not super bad, pretty neat actually

You can indeed do B3 after Harleys super! It's super tight though, and doing it online is probably near impossible! But it's nice to look at :)

Harley Quinn can actually combo into unlockables. It's very interesting the amount of stuff Harley can actually do. But sadly I have no method to prove it atm but I would love to one day show it off.

Just a small hint. You could do a back 3 and instantly activate Darkseid's super. It will connect. Trust me.

I'm surprised Green Lantern didn't have a streak. In 2, his is so slow that I only know of one possible way to combo into it, and the damage output isn't insane either... again. He is my favorite character in the series, but man his supers are underwhelming.

GL’s super in INJ2 was basically impossible to combo into, and you could block it from a mile away with crappy startup

For Scarecrow's super, I often use his special attack (B or O) and when it's fully charged and you manage to get the opponent, you can launch the super

One thing that U forgot to mention about darksides super in injustice 2 is that u can control his super with ur joy stick and make it go over the intire screen or even go low

Darkside super was a mixup. you can control his omega beams and make them appear off screen up down or around. I know because I mean to him with a 48 win streak on ranked. Give it a try and let me know

Scarecrows super may be a little slow, But you have to admit it's pretty damn cool looking

I would include IJ2 Green Lantern too. Really slow, can be evaded by dashing if done raw, too slow to counter with armor and can only be comboed into after a B3 or a B13 (you know, because no one expects a Green Lantern to do a low...).

Under normal conditions you can't combo into Grundy's super, but if you have the audacity to throw out a b3 into the neutral, Grundy can activate super and grab the opponent out of the air after the bounce. f3 also works, but has tighter timing. With that in mind, Grundy can do a combo string ending with a wallbounce interactable, b3 as the oppo comes down, then activate super and snatch them out of the air as they're bouncing back towards him.

Since I don’t really play Injustice 1 or 2 very well I really relay on supers to help me out, basically this is telling what characters not to use 😂 I’ll try master some combos someday but I’m sticking to what I know with my mk11 skill since I’m pretty decent at that game 💛

You can actually use Scarecrows fear toxic character power in any combo, and land the super cuz of the stun from a successful hit

I've already posted this as a reply to someone else's comment, but Grundy has a way to combo into his Super outside of b+3 and BGB. He can do it from b+2,3 but it is VERY hard to do. Activate the Super at the fastest possible time after the combo string, and then jump forward and grab instantly. It can be done mid screen but it can also be done in the corner to make it easier. I found this out about 2 years ago messing around in practice mode and I haven't found anyone else who knows about it.

The thing you didn't mention about Darkseids super is that you can physically control it's direction if you choose to. You can very easily turn it back around if you miss that hit and get your opponent after they've gotten back up.

Scarecrow was my main when I used to play this. I usually just burnt my bar instead of using his super.

I think I just realized something. I have always been a bit curious where that asteroid belt in Supergirl’s super came from, seeing as there shouldn’t be one between the Sun and the Earth. But then I realized. That’s Mogo’s corpse from when Superman pushed him into the Sun.

What i like to do with darkseids super is purposely let the lazers go past them but then bring it back and take them by surprise which is hilarious every time

I've won so many games because I used the Darkseid super and the beam can do some really derpy shit, like I've had it circle around the whole screen so it can hit the guy in the back but then at the last second it will switch to a front attack.

How could you leave out Catwoman’s super in Injustice 2? It sucked, it was fast on startup but it would always miss. I’d either go too over and go behind the opponent or I could barely stub their toe.

For me the women have some of the worst supers in both execution and damage. I mean you've got Wonder Woman who rivals Superman (debatable) but her super involves her just throwing her sword/shield like if they were cheap plastic toys,then you have Catwoman who always makes me cringe,whenever she goes "meow" or whatever and at best just crashes her bike onto you. The point to my rambling is the female fighters from Injustice" definitely got the short end of the stick when it comes to being fun to play as.

Solomon Grundy’s super was kind of like “damned if u do, damned if u don’t”, and what I mean by that is if they made it stronger like no hit stun, it would b overpowered, but by taking the route it did, it became crap

YOu can control Darkseids omega beams for the super, you can delay it and even make it go off screen i had an awesome clip of an online match where i delayed it so much and it still connected the guy was pissed
