Why have I come across this amazing video? I started playing skylanders when I was 5 right when spyros adventure came out, it was a great family game and I bonded with my parents and my brother so much during the game, this video is bringing back so much nostalgia lol, also hands down trigger happy best skylander

19 too, and yeah, especially since this franchise kinda died with Swap Force and later games. I wish there was online PvP on Skylanders Giants, it would’ve been goated

i'm not okay with prism break: the second attack have a great potential, because the crytals duplicate laserz, and when upgraded, you can put crystal on a dead ennemy, making the battlefield a crystal forest filled of lasers

These are my least favorites from Spyro’s Adventure Magic: Wrecking Ball Earth: Prism Break Air: Whirlwind Fire: Sunburn Water: Wham Shell Tech: Boomer Undead: Hex Life: Zook None of these Skylanders are bad at all in my opinion. But compared to the other Skylanders in their proper elements, they’re my least favs. Wrecking Ball however is just an absolute disgrace. He’s easily the worst Skylander in the first game in my opinion

Yeah it's hard because some elements are really good. Just cause they are the worst of an element doesn't mean they are bad. And I personally love whirlwind, but I can see why people don't like her as much.

The fact that people are still making Skylanders content in 2021 brings joy to my soul

REBUTTALS: Wrecking Ball may not be as good as other Magic Skylanders, but he is still fun and the force field ball MORE than makes up for his tongue weakness. Zook is great for a certain type of player. His mortar combined with the fungus shield makes for a fun and interesting moveset. Drill Sergeant sucks. I 100% agree. He scared me as a child. Hex is actually enjoyable. I don’t like her as well as Cynder or Chop Chop but she is still pretty fun. My hex is somehow intact. I agree with what you said about Eruptor. WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE PRISM BREAK? He is very fun and I really like him. His moveset works for me and his speed isn’t that bad. Warnado is very underrated. He needs more love. Wham-She’ll is my go to Water SSA Skylander.

After replaying Spyro’s Adventure to get a feel for the game again, I can confirm that there is absolutely no way Zook is the worst Life element. This man lays WASTE to the minions of darkness. He can stand in the face of the hoard of Shadow Knights in Kaos’ Castle and clear them within a matter of seconds and feel nothing. This man is Doom Guy incarnate. That said, I’m glad I found your video, really got me back into Skylanders and it’s fun to remember some of the worst Skylanders, even if half of them are my favorites. Love you Prism Break, even if you’re trash.

My favorite earth element skylander is dinorang, but prism break is a close second. It kinda pains me see him on this, for me he was so fun to use. His ability to turn enemies into crystals and use those crystals to spread his lasers was so much fun.

@@Rmcrace2319 for me double trouble is the worst for magic, as I mainly use his lightning summon attack that does 2 or 3 at a time. At least wrecking ball can heal himself by eating enemies. Gill grunt is great on the harpoon path, because he shoots 3 at a time, and they go through enemies. Zap would be my choice for water. Life and earth are close calls in my opinion, so I wont do them. I agree on air, fire I'm not sure about though.

I love Hex but her bone wall can be annoying sometimes, I love her design and lore but if they make more Skylander related stuff I feel like if classes were a thing she'd make a much more better long ranged support

Enjoyed this video. Skylanders giants PVP was and still is some of the most fun I've had in a game, so to see some videos in this series after all this time of not being too involved is really awesome. Great work! :)

I never actually owned skylanders but I had a poster of all the ones from Giants and found it super weird that every element had a dragon

So fun to see a new skylanders video. I just jailbroke my switch and downloaded imaginators for the heck of it and the gen 1 toys from a decade ago work like a charm!

I love that people still upload skylanders I’m always trying to find videos in skylanders

I think life and fire are really hard because there are no bad skylanders in those elements. I find zook super fun to use with his upgraded foliage and soul gem.

I always like to see wrecking ball and warnado as really rewarding hard to play characters :) i learnd to play around wreckung balls flaws and when you get the hang of your abilities he can be really strong to play :) I spend way too much time on him when i was younger ^^ Good video :)

Drill Sargent is rlly underrated imo, as his turret in the battle mode is kinda op if u spam it with his charge attack. It constantly does damage and u can just evade your enemy while slowly chipping off health

It’s been years since I’ve played this game, but Wrecking Ball could glitch into a little room at the main area’a beach at a cliff. You would do the sonic-like rolling ability and you could get a bunch of loot. Like a LOT. If I could find my xbox, portals, and skylanders I’d have to make I video of it

Drobot is my personal favorite, too. He’s the only reason I beat Kaos when I first played SSA- my whole army was dead and he was all I had left.

This was the first video game I ever played. I stopped after Trap Team though because I got older and my Wii didn't work well. BUT YOU KNOW WHO MY FAV SKYLANDER WAS. IT WAS WRECKING BALL IM SO SAD IMMA GO CRY NOW. Nevertheless, I am very happy to see people still making videos on my favorite game of all time!

I found Warnado really fun to play because of his shell slide, and it often got to places faster than his flight, and tight pinches too.

i set up my skylanders figures from throughout the ages and i’m glad this game is getting a resurgence

I like the vid and I love seeing new slylander content! I would just like to say you should experiment more with warnado and animation canceling. Notably, his shell dash is momentum based and can be canceled middash. This alows you to chain multiple dashes together or quickly switch to flying to start spamming shells. Since it's momentum based you can sling yourself off certain edges to save time or slide down ramps insanely fast. You can also animation cancel flying and grounding to reset shells without losing time or actually touching the ground. Warnado is easily one of the fastest skylanders in the game with the shell dash trick.

“Hard to charge” don’t tell him you can do something called not being right in shot gun distance.

I agree with everything besides zook as I have no problem with any of the life element skylanders but my point being, he has a gimmick and if a player can’t utilise him that’s on them not the character itself.

I'm kinda salty that Prism Break is the worst earth skylander, I've loved him above all others since he was one of my first skylanders. I even went through the entire game (like if it was a casual run) as only Prism Break and the amount of times his third attack saved me is unbeleivable.

Omg the nostalgia so many weeks and months playing skylanders me and my brother played this game so much and we absolutely loved it that’s why when Skylanders essentially died we didn’t sell ours we still have a massive collection with all the portals and disks and since we were so in love with the game we have almost all the skylanders for each gen

Me and my friend did a huge skylander 1v1 tournament for SA-SF and wrecking ball won because you can just spam the tongue account and it kills everything instantly.

It’s great to know there is a phyduck fan who loves skylanders and hates wrecking ball and love wrecking ball

I agree with most of these picks except for zook, zook is an amazing skylander if played the right way, his wall path is far better than his others because it allows the to knock back enemies away from him and he is meant to be played as a stationary character, mix his rockets with his walls and he is almost undefeated by anyone except larger enemies.

I agree, i had a zook ( the giants version ) who didn't have his wall path thing, and on hard mode he got kaos' final form down to a quarter of his hp

This series triggers one nostalgia bone and that was swap force, yet I’m entranced by the content in these games

I'm so happy that other people still love Skylanders

Even if Wrecking Ball has been my most used Skylander, I have to agree that Wrecking Ball's forcefield ball is nearly impossible to aim and you get punished for missing, the tongue is mainly just useful to attack from far away and the burp tells you to do the opposite of the tongue. I got over the weaknesses and if you do he can be effective, his high armour really helps if you miss the forcefield ball. He's most effective with his soul gem in earlier levels, making him good for repeat playthroughs or playing newer games. So, he's not too good but he can work.

This gave me a shitton of nostalgia, really gotta play skylanders again when I am able to visit my cousin again.

Prism break is my favorite core skylander not just in the earth element but the whole series

Zook can potentially cheese chaos to a degree since sometimes the cactus can sometimes hold his throne down. Not intended but it's still dumb, only a brief pause but still. Also, I won't argue zap as strong. But damn is he fun. Soul gem is not great, but it's better than stump smash since you can still spit lightning. Plus he's good at kiting wich is just fun to me.

I about to start replaying every skylanders game because why not I grew up with it

I'm not sure why people think the tongue attack of Wrecking Ball can hit only one enemy at a time, it seems like it can hurt more than one enemy per strike when I play. The feel of it is clunky because it locks him into moving either in the direction his tongue has launched or no direction at all until the attack finishes.

Actually fun fact, Wham Shell has the same speed stat as Stealth Elf, Zap, Flameslinger and other fast skylanders

I agree for almost all of this, everyone puts spyro high up or as number 1 but hes just so mediocre and standard compared to most other movesets. I could switch prism break for dinorang since i feel he has more range and the overtime damage on the crystal reflection if set up correctly is really good. Unrelated but spamming secondary path fire explosion on ignitor is so good compared to charged sword. If you stay right next to second phase kaos and keep on exploding immediately it absolutely empties his healthbar

Man I always forget how wonderful this game's music is. (And I've literally played it in the last year)

All of my brother's favorites are on the list (Drill Sargent, Wrecking Ball, and Zook) and while I cannot vouch for Zook or Wrecking Ball, I can say that Drill Sergeant is amazing if you take the primary upgrade path. A spray of rockets every time you attack can be incredibly powerful.

Drill Sergeant, just like Stump Smash has a Wow Pow on Giants that completely fixes one of his awful attacks. And regardless of how much better Drill is on Giants, I'd still say he's easily the worst on Spyro's because of how good the other three are.

You know what’s funny? I tried to get EXACTLY THESE when i was hunting for some Skylanders ( also i actually really like Drill Sergeant i don’t know why)

Seeing zook here hurts my heart, he’s way better than stump smash. His play style is very unique if you take the bottom path, prioritising diverting the enemies attention with the cacti from the mortar and attacking with the bazooka when the backs are turned. Whereas stump smash is your classic, ranged attack melee attack Skylander.

2020 and 2021 made me play all my Skylanders games again after so many years.

Eruptor and prism break is my favorite not lying

The only one of the 8 skylanders in this video I would consider an asset is Warnado. I think any skylander can be good if you know how to use them correctly, and Warnado was one of the first ones I mastered. He's much easier to use with the tornado path, because of the upgrade that gives his tornadoes sentience. Enemies the tornadoes don't deal with themselves can be finished with a spin attack or two. Lightning Rod though, I still have yet to master.

For PvP Wrecking Ball is the best legit skylander. Legit his range on the tongue when you upgrade it so it hits for 80 every like .6 seconds. It’s actually crazy.

Loving the Skylanders content, true nostalgia for me. I pretty much agree with your list (since they reflect my personal preference. I do think that Lightning Rod is worst than Warnado, but that’s also because Warnado looks much cooler, which I know doesn’t affect your list.

This game is my childhood... But my og series 1 spyro figure doesn't work on the portal anymore...
