I was just thinking, I have to give this guy credit for scalding his own face and arms for several minutes. Regardless of the fact that he did this to himself, he stuck with his decision to block a steaming hot water jet with his forehead. He saw it through. I can literally see a change in his skin tone by the end of the video, presumably due to burns.

Imagine crying about 150$-300$ max for this repair job based on the “30min” thing; and instead going for thousands of dollars worth of damage, not to mention what came of the people below them. And then get the bright idea of, oh well we’ll make the resident pay for it. We may have destroyed all their belongings but... Wouldn't be surprised if it was part of "the plan". Landlords can charge you for "damages or unreasonable wear" caused during your stay. If they flood the carpets and ruin the drywall, they can nail the ex-tennants with the cost and not have to soak up the reno costs themselves. Common scum-lord tactic. Send in a scab to mess things up, blame it on tenant miss use. If the tenant doesn't have video/photo, or any solid evidence, the courts often side with property owners under the assumption of being an upstanding citizen.

Yep, and a landlord being a cheapskate not wanting to pay the $150 fee. Another story I heard about was someone having a leaking tap or faucet that was growing, they sent an email to the landlord, no response, sent another one, no response. They sent them a text with a video, and the landlord said “I’m not going to fix it.” The tenant just left it as obviously the landlord wasn’t going to do anything, and they got a call from the Body Corp that they needed emergency access to their apartment due to the leak getting bigger and damaging two apartments below. Tenant said yes, and they went and fixed everything. Landlord got hit with an $8,000 bill and tried blaming the tenant for it, tenant showed them the correspondence warning them of it and how the landlord “wasn’t going to fix it” and they immediately shut up. 😂

carrying on with this comment, once the landlord has no money, no job, and no property, his girlfriend leaves him, but not without taking the kids first. Then once he is broke, working at mac donald’s, and sleeping in a cheap hotel, a horrible rainstorm comes and then he realizes why it’s so cheap, water seeps into his apartment room, making it just as soggy and water damaged as his old landlord property. As he weeps and is forced to sleep in this cold, soggy, damp room, he begins to choke on the mold filling his lungs from years of druggies excreting fluids upon the room, rainwater, and the broken A/C blowing 45 degree cold air. Turns out aswell it was a small leak before he started work on it 😬 However I will say this guy (lacking plumber skills as he may be) is not the villain. Like any good anime he's the one you think is the bad guy however it's later revealed he's working for the real villain the evil landlord. But thanks to the guy recording this they proved the landlord was lying when she made the bitch move of trying to blame the tenants and she had to pay a LOT of money for all the damage to this and another apartment lol. The family have apparently moved somewhere with a decent landlord now so a happy ending. Though we don't know what happened to the plumber.
