@@smplcty9687 deffered gives u +10% dmg AND after u hit somenthing it will take dmg that u did + that 10% extra tho it does way more dmg than normaly cuz it dosent have a dmg cap just time limit so 1 hit with deffered is like 3-5 normal hits

These deepwoken players are a different breed, the other day some clowns ganked some of my guildmates that were on freshies and said ez but then they tried to run when me and only one other person came to fight them, they lost a 4v2 badly

people of that guild you fought, i met a few, they helped me out with freshie grippers but damn they really did you like that

Funny, because this is similar to what happened to me a few hours ago. Two people attacked me upon spawn in the Depths on my Freshie account, and when they killed me they spammed ez. I went to the Depths via whirlpool on my main just to fight them, and I ended up wiping them both. I succeeded in leaving the Depths soon after.

It's basically impossible to have an inf or true combo that uses more than two moves. Pretty much everything in this game can be avoided quite easily.

@@tacoisrocket2765 which is why I find deepwoken combat really unrewarding, you manage to outsmart your opponent with a good feint? They either roll away or you get one singular hit in, after which they instantly parry the second or you do yet another feint. Parries and feints in this game are too trivial, they should be tools that can't be spammed and that are used to turn the tide of the battle. Luckily the devs are working to make combos more "doable" by making parrying mid-combo really hard and removing flourishes.

@Bob D. Builder if they parry when you feint, you successfully baited their parry and should be rewarded with a hit. This is not the case since people just dodge away, which leads to infinite parry and feint trades. They should make successful feints more rewarding and punish people for throwing out parries randomly.

@Bob D. Builder daggers are already statistically overpowered, they shouldn't be given as examples of how all weapons should be like. Also, everything I've said in my comments is partially addressed by the combat changes thst they showcased in direct, including the block frames change. However, that doesn't stop the "feint, swing, feint" spam that many people to. Feints should be just as powerful and situational as parries, maybe they should make it so swinging after a feint does a kick/block break type move which does high posture damage to truly punish the people who fall for feints. All of this still doesn't address the fact that feints are easily countered by dodging after missing a parry. Maybe make it so you can't dodge right after you miss a parry.
