The TV comedy The Good Place depicts the popular notion that good people go to some kind of heaven when they die, typically because they have done good things. But did you know that the Bible teaches the exact opposite? In this story that Jesus tells about a lost sheep, we discover that the worst and most undeserving people who repent will experience the joy of heaven. Since there was only one good Person who ever lived, He made a way for us to get to “the good place.”

It wasn't your focus, brother Skip, but I heard a call for the church to repent in your message as well, and I believe it would also lead to rejoicing in heaven. Like the Pharisees of Jesus' day, very few churches or Christians have much love for "those people". We don't willingly associate with the lowly. Churches are very often not only segregated by race, but also by income and by "high" vs "low" culture. Jesus said the world would know that we are his disciples because of the love that we have for one another. It is small wonder that the world hasn't gotten the message.

One more, I am so grateful that HE found me, one of HIS lost sheep, brought me back and sorry, you did hot hear the noise-joy in heaven many years ago, but I still rejoice with everybody who find HIM now. The joy noise in heaven is so beautiful,.... and it is true. Just accept HIM - Jesus, Yeshua.
Thanks very much, dear pastor Skip, if GOD will not take HIS hand to save me, I could be prostitute, drug user and of course end by suicide. I love your message, but .. GOD offer free gift of salvation, it is only on us, how we accept - refuse. He offered many years ago to me and it took time for me to accept it, but I am so grateful for - no work for !! just add good deeds, but accept like great free gift from GOD.
