I think what Haeryun likes about Junmo is that she's so used to the gangster guys, she's used to dealing with the opposite of what normal people deal with, but she wants to leave the business and have a normal life cuz she's not like that deep down. So Junmo being someone with as far as she sees, all good qualities such as being brave, loyal, respectful, humble, etc. She's not used to people like him, so naturally that draws her attention. I also think she enjoys teasing someone like him who isn't so forward and with a big ego.

I gotta agree, wife's character has been pretty bland. Haeryun/BIBI is so much more fun and likeable. I also feel this episode Seungho/Junmo was actually being sincere to her a lot of moments, the moment he said "I think I might like you even more than I though" The expression and gestures were very real. He also felt more natural talking to her. It's understandable, messed up, but understandable 😂

Jumno and haeryun's characters are are multi dimensional. They are spices in the bland food.

I like this series overall, but the writers made the wife nothing more than a plot device to make our main character jealous. It would've been so much better if we got to see more of her policewoman cunning. She's supposed to be a more elite cop than hubby and comes from a proud family of cops, but like you guys said, is spending the show mostly looking bewildered in every scene.

i wish you guys react to Twinkling Watermelon kdrama. this drama has so many genres like time travel, romcom, family, youth, fantasy

There is allure to junmo. He comes off as extremely dependable, trustworthy and loyal. Lee haeryun never had someone like that before junmo. Therefore she's so into him. They are so much better together and junmo and his wife.

Guys you should watch descendants of the sun it's a must kdrama

The thing that junmo did in this episode with haeryun where he says that he wants to see her for long time therefore he wants to maintain distance between them for time being which is what i feel wife should have done with gicheol when she kissed him. She could have easily avoided it but didn't. Whereas junmo didn't actually had choice when he made out with haeryun. You can see him trying everything to get out the situation. Even here he is trying to avoid physical intimacy. That's why I don't like wife very much.
