Having this park as my home park I agree with most of your picks here. On Flight of Fear, that last inversion, a corkscrew can jolt you quite hard if you dont brace for it, and on Backlot, I found the first helix after the launch to be quite rough, and would pick that instead. regardless, great picks!

dont hate on banshee. i will forever love that ride.

I love the way the beast felt before they made it smoother even though it gave me headaches. Getting hurt is just a part of the experience.

idk why but i love rough coasters, it gives the ride so much character and people that complain about it also give away their whole character too. In my opinion I literally can't rank everything at Kings Island other than Diamondback at #1, because I feel like I love all of the rides equally.

They are roller coasters so yes your going to get jerked, whiplashed and so on. Its what makes a coaster.

Flight of my fear is my favorite because of how well themed it is and the launch is great but it could definitely use some new trains and a rework of the block sections so more trains can run and the MCBR doesn’t have to stop you

You and I experienced Orion very differently I guess. That first hill you keep calling a wave turn was one of my favorite parts of the coaster, especially if you're on the exit side of the train in the front row. I def got some negative G's, and being sideways while getting them was a cool experience.

I love this park, and the beast was SUPER FUN, but the second drop might me faster than the first one

The worst part of this list has to be either the stunt car take or the flight of fear take

I am planning a trip to Kings Island in June of 2024. I want to ride The Beast and many other coasters. It was a toss up between Kings Island and Cedar Point and Kings Island won out because there were more coasters I wanted to ride there. The swing vote was the classic wooden coaster Racer. I know it’s not your favorite but I have a soft spot for classic wooden coasters as they remind me of my beloved Colossus.

I was here during winterfest and I got my best ride ever on flight of fear. The midcourse was turned off so you would just fly through the second half. Mystic was running pretty slow though

Banshee has gotten really uncomfortable. I hope they find a way to fix it

I will say that Flight of Fear back in the day was absolutely out of control. It went so fast that even as a young man I was never able to brace myself for any maneuver. On top of that it had over the shoulder restraints making the head banging just terrible so at least now days I can survive one ride without it ruining my day.

yea that mid corse brake run is very annoying on flight of fear especialy since it already opperates super slow so having it doesent even make much of a difference

Always go on backlot at night it’s suits the ride and makes it feel more realistic

I love kings island don’t think anything but racer is uncomfortable

Invertigo is one of the roughest rides period. I wish they would replace it with a RMC Raptor or something. Don’t tell me a Raptor’s capacity is too low for a park like KI because it most definitely is better than invertigo. Great videos brother!! Love the content!!😎

Invertigo is butter smooth if you ride it correctly. And I’m tired of the hate. Don’t use the little handles. Put your hands near your head like a normal ots restraint would have you so. And then it’s perfect.

The Invertigo was uncomfortable and make us dizzy because we always go backwards 😮‍💨

Orion after the secong hill is the roughest thing ever and hurt my head so bad

adventure express is a wooden and if you couldn’t tell very old coaster so of course its going to be shakey

Horrible take on racer, no offense but they retracted that whole second half and it makes red side better than they blue. You can’t say it’s rough if you haven’t ridden the rEtRacK. There was 0 roughness. Invertigo take wasn’t great but the other ones are pretty good

I love all the coasters at Kings Island except for Flight of Fear because that one is so shaky and it bangs your shoulders against the sides of the seat. I know how to brace myself on Invertigo to make that one a good experience. I rode Beast in row 3 on passholder day and it was pretty rough; I think anywhere else on Beast is good though.

The rattle on flight of fear is ANNOYING

Stop screwing with Kings Island. It’s a good park

@@AlexDaDeer I'd say it's pretty thrilling in a good way. A little shaky for a steel coaster, but I'd say it's awesome. It is inside and the inside is usually rather dark. There are some lights to help you see, but it's rather dark in there.

Tbh the worst elements on Diamondback are the two hills after the MCBR. The midcourse didn’t really hard and it was a hot day and these hills still didn’t deliver like the other ones did

Some of these complaints don’t seem valid more like you didn’t have anything to say about it and you just came up with something to say

For Racer, I would have said going up the hill with the turn, but that might just be a Red Racer thing.

my least favorite part of racer is the break run because everyone screams at the top of their lungs in the tunnel

IMO the floater on mystic is one of the best parts of the ride

Banshee felt tame compared to Flight of Fear and Invertigo.

Orion pretty much every element is underwhelming the best part is the brake run so I know I’m closer to getting off and can go ride the better hyper in the park diamondback and mystic Timbers

I ride banshee when I first get there

Last time I rode flight of fear I banged my jaw on the side of the train going into the cobra roll

I’ve been on the back lot stunt coaster, at Canada’s Wonderland and I hated it

For invertigo, The entire ride

I will offer a different opinion on Diamondback. though that trim is felt very easily on Diamondback (and orion I suppose) the hill always offers fantastic air in the front and back, and decent in the middle. I would say the worst of Diamondback is the airhill right before the final helix. Front and back of train is a slow, weak floater, and virtually nothing in the middle.... depending on when you ride :p Also, in 2017 I got to ride FOF where they did not stop you! Its so much better!

I felt diamond was best towards the back. But I do that on most coasters. Maybe next time I will try front row

Personally I like the trim on Diamondback because I feel like your flying out of your seat longer.

They make the bat look so bad on videos but it's my favorite ride there

I absolutely loved this. As you know, I still have not yet beet to K.I. I plan to go in August. I have the Platinum pass; spent 4 nights last week at Carowinds! In the 3 days and 4 hours I was there I did 97 rides on Fury 325 making it my favourite coaster after Steel Vengeance. But K.I. is a better park overall and my favourite coaster there would probably be Diamondback. I'd've thought the worst part of Diamondback wouldn't be the trimmed camelback, but would be the drop AFTER the drop off the MCBR (since it has a high valley, having to clear the choo choo train 😆). Trims on B&M hypers don't bother me that much anyway. However: you said the worst rattle is before that trimmed camelback, so that may be a consideration, but knowing me: I highly doubt it. I expect Diamondback to be the best coaster I've ridden after Steel Vengeance and Fury 325, however I don't expect it to be better than The Voyage or Velocicaoaster, both of which are my favourite bucket list coasters and therefore haven't yet ridden. It's my favourite coaster I've ridden after Steel Vengeance and Fury 325 and I've ridden over 150. 2: You're 1st sentence stated the 1st drop having a rattle and you only put the question mark to create plausible deniability that you're complaining about a rattle at all, then you try to elevate yourself with your 2nd sentence which starts with a "Maybe" and and again ends with another misplaced question mark; both also attempting to create plausible deniability that you're criticizing me for mentioning a rattle. Are you agreeing with me that Diamondback is awesome or is this just some passive aggressive bull? 🤔

I’ll probably rank them later this year once Adventure Express reopens. Also, flight of fear is jerky, uncomfortable, always has a long line, it’s just a coaster that I always dread riding. It’s probably my least favorite coaster in the park, I’ll ride it at Coasterstock with the lights on though so that might change things.

I actually think the FoF restraints are more comfortable than Banshee. The ones on Banshee are just so tight.

I don’t hate the rides, this video is the worst part of rides that are good. Diamondback is one of my all time favourite coasters, but each ride has its dull spots. That’s what this video is for.
