Talk about a hidden gem of a channel! Your map reviews are very interesting to watch and really well made. It makes me appreciate more of what goes into the design of a Battlefield map. It’s a bit sad that Battlefield is in the dumps in terms of interest and reputation at the moment. Battlefield channels deserve another popular entry like BF3 and BF1 to make content on and grow their audience with.

Definitely a "style over substance" map. Was beautiful to look at but a total pain in the a*se to play. Love your map reviews.

This might be the first time i dont fully agree with you.While yeah, it's not the best BF3 of all time, it was certainly my favorite map of armored kill.While i didnt get to play in on PC(arrived too late) i certainly enjoyed on PS3 on both modes(maybe less players and tighter layout helped).For me , Bandar Desert was the most uninspired map of the whole DLC, and i even played it on PC and still didnt enjoyed that map.And yea the AC 130 ruined the whole DLC completely.Good vid as always

It is inevitable that people disagree with my videos. Everyone's experience is subjective. However, I will say i may have gone a bi overboard on this one and that it isnt my best work. I went through several rewrites just to be less negative. I did try to give credit where it was due though. To your point, since you largely played it on the smaller size, I imagine this DID make a huge difference in enjoyability. As for Bandar, that will make an appearance sooner or later...

I loved this map on PS3 as well. Joined PC in late 2019 and my fav server sometimes runs this map, so I played it a few times on PC as well, and guess what, I absolutely loved it. TBH, I prefer CQL over the small TDM map, simply because you can enjoy more terrain variety in CQL.

my opinion of this map is its def one of the best looking maps in BF history but is only really fun on rush mode. one of the few things that would fix this map and the emptiness of it would've been having fast mass air transport like the Osprey in 2042.

You should be a map rework dedicated series. Could be making a great map to a perfect map or a very disappointing map turned good or somewhere in between

That sun is one of the few bad things I have to say about BF3. I remember many many deaths that were quickly followed by a rant about how I couldn't even see the guy shooting me, the devs are brainless, all the classic stuff.

I loved this map, but admittedly as a saboteur I am biased. Hiding and waiting to ambush tanks with rockets or C4, and putting mines in passes. But other than that yeah it's not too great lol.

How are you able to get battlefield 3 matches on this map?

bf3 dlc server non official I think only played this map twice in a dlc map server

EU server, your best bet is fridays and weekend peak hours EU time.

Agreeing with BF_Flyer below. Part of it is definitely getting lucky with EU DLC servers in the afternoon. However, a large chuck of footage in this video was gathered over a year ago when Venice Unleased first dropped.

Any plans to review the 2042 maps? I know, almost all of them belong in the garbage, but still.

Yes. In fact, I had planned to release a major video about them months ago, but they were SO bad that they constantly were getting updates and changes. Because of this, I decided to wait until most of them had been finalized.

Even altai range is better, which is saying alot!
