Between him and Steve-O it's proof that there is a God and they have a very twisted sense of humor.

i feel like it has to do with nfl players getting concussions and they ignore it and keep playing with them as it gets worse and worse for them. When johnny gets one, he goes immediately to the hospital and gets the best treatment possible

@@TR4L1400 Concussions can be treated but if you keep having them then there's not much you can do. I think the recent research says that NFL guys get lots of little ones that they ignore but they all add up. Sounds like Knoxville has had quite a few but they've all been big ones. Hope he will be okay though.
@theexchipmunk

@@TR4L1400 Newer science on it actually shows that the large concussions are not the main reason for long lasting damage. Yes, they heighten the risks of neurodegenerative syndrome, but the ones responsible for the psychological and motorical problems are actually the micro concussions you don't really notice. Basically, even smaller shakeups cause slight concussions, but not to a debilitating degree so many people don't notice. The main problem is that they build up over time and really mess you up over longer time frames.

@@theexchipmunk I heard in a recent study that even mogul skiing can cause micro concussions because of the constant jarring going through your body. That's right, you don't even have to hit your head apparently

Let's all just take a second to acknowledge the fact that one of Johnny's first stunts was him shooting himself in the chest, *point blank, WITH THE CHEAPEST BULLETPROOF VEST HE COULD FIND...* *AND HE DIDN'T EVEN PLAN TO FILM IT!!!!!!* There's an alternate universe out there where Johnny never recorded those stunts and nobody believed he actually did them

I love how much more slams/injuries is put into one of these videos 😂 GOAT!!!!
I’m glad we live in the universe where none of them died making footage for these movies. I mean I’d prefer the one in the multiverse where they all were still alive, but I’m grateful that our thrust for more content didn’t (directly) result in one of their deaths.
Damn I can’t stop laughing. I’m glad your still alive Johnny. Much love
Damn, out of all the injuries he talks about, the one where the bike breaks his urethra always makes me wince in pain. Every time he talks about it on different videos or shows it always gets me. The fact this man had a catheter in him 2x a day for 3 1/2 years is fuckin insane.

Protip: I had a friend who was addicted to painkillers for like 15 years. Guy said the only time he ever sneezed the entire time was when he got off of the stuff while he was going through withdrawals. Otherwise for whatever reason, being addicted to painkillers made him stop sneezing lol. These are the things they don't tell you about in DARE.
I love seeing johnny alive and well:)
