The worst flood hit Italy! Hundreds of cars and houses are underwater in Milan. Natural disaster 16 May 2024
In the municipality, dozens of homes have been flooded and rendered uninhabitable, with a kindergarten evacuated by firefighters.
The epicenter of the flooding in Bellinzago Lombardo is the Villa Fornaci area, a former section of the upper Po Valley.
Approximately fifty people have been displaced, with 15 of them being housed in the Bellinzago secondary school building.
Civil protection has issued an orange weather warning for Milan and a yellow warning for most of the central region.
The community is working together to support those affected by the severe flooding.
