Very much did lol
Car felt like total arse at Okayama. I totally spat the dummy in practice and ruled out racing!
So easy to lose the rear on this track and setup. I struggled for sure keeping this car on track this week.
Agreed that push to pass here feels likes it's not on on compared to last weeks Watkins Glen.

It definitely feels weak in this setup. Open setup where I feel you will be able to push more it will be more effective.
that voice changer was incredible! thought it was an ai voice for a solid 30 seconds before realising it was you
I was the guy that spun at T8 on lap 1 😅

One advice, try using push to pass more on the straight when you have slipstrem when downforce isn’t necessary, and turn off PTP in the corners 😅 btw great race! Enjoyed it waty⚡️🏎️

It doesn't work that way. You start the race with 200 seconds of P2P, but anytime you disengage it, you have to wait for 60 seconds of "re-time" where it is unavailable. They're running 72 to 74 second laps, so if you use it for a straight and turn it off, you don't have it for another whole lap (almost). The Fixed races are 11 laps, so I usually try to save it and full burn from the start of the back straight on lap 11 through the checkered flag.

@@j-wray thanks for explaining, im new to Super Formula, i only raced in F4 and F1 ⚡️🏎️
iRacing's Okayama fixed setup is bad enough to keep me away for the week.

@@stuffeyy it’s bad enough to make the track un-enjoyable. My bought setup is really good.
Any tips to brake late in the super formula car. I see that you can brake in between the 100 and 50 markers on the back straight and wanted to know if you have a technique?

Reduce the brake bias a few clicks, I normally use between 56 - 57. Having the brakes too far forward can cause the front wheels to lock up. Have a look at my brake input on the telemetry also in my video, this will give you a good idea of how much pressure is required to slow the car down into certain corners.
Are you using the tear off super often or am I seeing things?

I am, I have a bit of OCD when it comes to the tear offs 😂
I give this track a pass this week. Drove it once, meh, no thank you. Imola next week, my cup of tea.
