It’s dead because a few of you don’t play anymore? Let’s be serious lol. It takes me .5 seconds to find a game in any online mode and I can flip 50k in cards in one smoke session. It’s not dead, ‘some’ people are not adapting to the new ways and just waiting for next year. I’ll keep playing the game and enjoying it. I’m having fun.

Somehow I got it like 4th try, 1st attempt I singled with Baez and nuked with the other three, difficulty was low and I got it over and done with luckily fast

The extreme moment literally took me over 4+ hours to do. I'd consistently get Paul O'Neill to homer, Cutch and Baez would semi-consistently homer and the try I actually got it done, I got Chapman to homer by sheer luck. Once NCAA comes out, this game's gonna look like a ghost town.

Everyone moans about the seasonal power creep. If they didn’t have seasons 99 overall cards wouldn’t have been out for another month anyway so you’d all be satisfied with using these 95 cards because that’s the best you can have, but because you had 3 weeks of 99 overalls now it’s all you want

Oh shut up. The overall power creep was just better. Sets are just stupid. Idk why, but the game just gets stale when it feels like every week you’re getting a homework assignment to keep up to date with the game and not fall behind the competition. They made the game miserable. Sets is just the icing on the cake

@@lukadoncic2477 wish you had played fifa 12-14 and then you could compare it to any fifa the past 4 years. The entitlement of sports gamers has gotten out of control. They’ll get rid of sets and seasons then you will all moan about lack of content then they’ll give you content you’ll say it’s shit content then they’ll over saturate the amount of content received. It’s a vicious circle. But me personally the game would be stale if every card released from now was 99 because of the end of season 1 releasing 99 overalls.

He’s half right The grind is just longer than previous years. SDS is greedy now and putting everything in packs. Since when does it take 280 cards to get a collection reward? Insanity

@@makoman115 see that’s crazy. They’re restricting those cards to the end of season because even if you pay your way to the card you can’t get it till what 8 weeks? Like if some one wants to pay their way to that card by week 4/5 I have no issue with that. It’s the idea that seasons and sets are ruining the game where I’d argue they’re allowing a player base that doesn’t have 4-6 hours a day to still enjoy the game progressively . The grinded cards don’t take too long - they won’t be outdated by the time you get them and there are definitely chase cards out better than most of these free cards for the players that spend 5 hours a day on the game are they better than the 99 they used at the end of last season course not but they’re better than all the team affinity cards.

@@kaisaddington4310 bro i don’t have time to play the game constantly and i didn’t even get an s1 boss and i still don’t have the s1 collection. The grind feels ridiculous this year compared to previous years. The bosses aren’t restricted to the end of the season, they’re restricted to payers or EXTREMELY dedicated players. Feels terrible. Not to mention the 2-4 wild card slots are like 800k xp to unlock too

I know there is a laundry list of things needed for this series, but mission tracking should be an easy one to add (without going to the app while playing). Just let us pick up to 10 items to track that we can see by hitting pause. It would also be great to have a filter when building a team, but that's probably a bit more involved :)

The extreme moment genuinely made me question their hitting algorithm, the amount of times i would get to chapman and perfect/perfect a base hit or lineout was unacceptable. I get it's supposed to be a challenge but taking skill out for some RNG bullshit is such a questionable design.

Sets and seasons are needed, every sport game starts with low overalls last year was my first mlb the show and I was so confused why everyone was a 99 so early into the game I played during the wbc chapter it was a blast but when the next season came out I stopped playing I found it pointless of everyone being a 99 and you having to find the best ones, in my opinion I like this format more because you see how they make player improvements and there are a bunch of different squad they messed up with Santana boost and they barely have enough content, I see that’s where the problem is if they dropped more stuff to do and more cards to collect it would make the game more fun to play

I was a casual last year and now mlb is my main game, it’s not in a perfect spot even with the gameplay being terrible, they definitely need to make improvements

I hit the first 3 sooo many times with this shit, and Chapman ruined it for me each time. Then they also have Ramone throwing complete dots as well…. I realized you have to really get under it, even if you think it’s to far under those are the ones that fly out better than any. Then with the righties just sit higher up because that’s where his pitches were mostly. And don’t swing at opposite side pitches with the righties. It’s way harder to hit it out when he’s throwing all the way to the right of the zone.

though kyle would whoop my ass in a game this extreme was super easy for me. i tried at like 4 am half asleep n it felt hard but woke up and did it in 2 tries

I think they should keep seasons, like the reward path but they should remove the sets it ruins the fun of grinding for card you can use for the rest of the year, it make the lightning card useless unless you wildcard them or use them for the season sets

While I agree on the captain card I will say it makes Randy Johnson from season 1 pretty good since that's an all star card. Also Ramon being in the game isn't new this year. He's been in past games like someone in chat mentioned.

That very first try on the extreme moment, you didn’t have to restart. You don’t have to do it consecutively like it says. You can hit again with Paul O’Neil and get that hr. As long as you don’t get out

No you can still exchange him. Make sure he’s not on a single team anywhere in any game mode and you can switch
