I have a soft spot for boardwalk pizza, my husband and I stopped there when we got in for our honeymoon because it was the only place that was open. We bought our bride and groom Mickey ears at the boardwalk store and got a pizza. Very romantic. 😊

not Your mama I guarantee it’s highly unlikely they did that. The chefs at Disney want to make every customer happy and finding a way to make a dish taste just as good without a certain ingredient the person might be allergic to is a challenge they often welcome. (As long as the customer is respectful, which I always am no matter what cast member I’m dealing with.)

My girlfriend and I came back from Florida a week ago and we went to Le Celliar steak house in Epcot. We were both greatly disappointed. Our bill, after tip, was over $200. Great service and drinks but we both think the steak, which we had both heard was some of the best steak in the park from multiple people, was eh. It definitely was not a $45 steak.

The one thing I have to say about the last canteen in Animal Kingdom is that they need to say the Boba is on everything on the menu. I ordered a salad and as soon as I saw it asked for a plate to put it on because I can't have the sugar and the guy was actually kind of rude about it and told me that I should have ordered it without it in the first place but it didn't say it on the menu or even show it in the picture like... I can't order without it if yall don't say it comes with it I had no way of knowing

While I like those items I don’t want to eat only that for a week, especially if I’m only doing a quick service meal trip. I’ve had some good quick burgers but I’ve also had some that were practically water with a little meat thrown in. I also hate how just about every kids menu is basically just chicken tenders, burger, pizza, hot dog, fries, apple slices and drink. People from other countries visit and that’s not what their kids are eating and if you’re at Chefs de France why not serve kid friendly versions of the food, or gasp serve what the French kids eat, instead of the same things. I know as a kid I would’ve gotten sick of eating the same three things for a week.

@@jacestringham7022 In Disneyland Paris finding food is a quest on itself. Seriously. I went last year and there are basically no food options at the Studios park that aren't cookies or hamburgers, except the Ratatouille restaurant, but that's often filled up. We couldn't get in, at least during our three say stay. Meanwhile at the Disneyland Park, restaurants close around 17:00! When my group wanted to eat first we searched Frontierland and then Adventureland and finally found the quick service Hakuna Matata where we had to quickly eat something because they were closing too! In total we encountered five closed restaurants! During the day it's not really a problem, there are great sandwiches at Main Street, but diner is a problem. Disney Village's restaurants, outside the parks, were open. And we ate there most of the time. However, when you are looking for something else than burgers and fries, you options are limited. The best options in the burgers and fries department are 50/60s themed Annette's, which has waiters on rollerskates(!), and Five Guys (which annoyingly is just outside the security check). I haven't checked out the hotel restaurants, which you can freely visit too, but if it's your first trip to DLP finding decent food options is kind of hard. And I haven't even gone into the insane wait times counter services can have! One of our group wanted to buy a drink bottle at a stand at Studios and while he was third in line we had to wait no less than 10 minutes (I actually timed it).

@@jacestringham7022 Well, Disney might spend money on Paris, but that's after 20+ years of mismanagement. Currently they still are renovating rides that haven't gotten too much attention over the years. And those can take a stupid amount of time, like the 1.5 years Phantom Manor renovation. But still the food factor could be a massive money maker. No idea why they don't use it. Their high class restaurant Walt's on Main Street has been closed for two years, I think. It's really makes me sad when I think about Paris's potential that is just squandered.

I completely agree with AJ's comment "It's like a school cafeteria". One exception was an off-menu item that was being prepared as we walked thru the serving line one evening. The Turkey Pesto Panini sandwich was amazing! Fresh baked bread, thick slices of fresh mozzarella cheese, and tasty pesto on a mountain of thin sliced turkey made for a surprisingly delicious and hearty sandwich. We would definitely order it again.

Victoria & Alberts was by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to at Disney on a date night, my husband and I went for our 10 year anniversary. The food was some of the most unique and delicious I’ve had and you get a lot throughout the night. A little highlight I liked and thought was just awesome, there is a little footstool for your purse! It’s so nice, you know you’re dressed up in a fancy dress and nice little clutch and it didn’t go on the edge of the table or the floor or on your lap while you ate or hanging off the back of the chair. It had its own little stool to lay upon! Such a nice touch.

Another great video! However, I've had a very bad experience using Yelp. I gave a local barber shop an honest and factual review. (Cash only. They close for lunch. Etc.) The barbers and their buddies sent me very nasty, threatening and harassing messages. I reported them (and their messages) to Yelp. Yelp gave them a gentle "warning." Then, they started following me over the Yelp website, posting attacks against me. Yelp informed me that Yelp wanted to remain "neutral." Well, the bullies won. I haven't used Yelp since then.

Agreed and sometimes when you’re vacationing and eating every meal out, it’s easy to get burnt out and things start to taste the same. I hate tomato gravy but it was the first thing my granny cooked when I got home from a week of fast food in DC on a school trip and it’s a meal I’ll never forget.

we've stayed at all star music and sports (iirc) and most recently port orleans french quarter. i'd imagine pop century's cafeteria is similar to the all stars. I'd say most of the offerings were always pretty good for what it was and the prices with or without a meal plan weren't too aweful. then again we didn't love Boma at animal kingdom or Kona cafe at poly.....though both of what we had wasn't aweful either. Some people just like a good burger and fries for a "regular" meal. regardless can't wait to get back to Disney and keep trying new things and have new adventures!!

ESPN wasnt too too bad. Had some wings, a burger and beer and it was ok! My personal worst rated meal is Hollywood & Vine followed by, Tonys Town Square and then Cindarella’s Royal Table which is scandalously bad for the price!! I like WDW food in general and I LOVE Citricos, 1900PF, Kona Cafe, Jiko and quite a few Epcot festival stands. I read someones comment below that DLP food is better and nearly fainted in shock. Went 3x in 3 years. Have had food poisioning once, thrown up once and my whole party lost weight last trip from refusing to eat. Not for us!!

We love the torture tavern seating area, even though I’m pretty sure none of us have actually eaten there. We went with family friends recently who had a 3 year old so it was a good spot to sit when she was napping, needed a snack break, couldn’t ride a ride we were going on, and we all stopped to go to the bathroom there instead of the Pirates bathrooms bc they were very clean and hardly ever crowded. Such a great seating area but I don’t know that any of us have eaten anything!

I was at Disney World back in March 2020 and found they have added some different items to the menu! I always get a kids meal and do my research ahead of time so I know what dishes each place has. I always like getting my obligatory mac and cheese kids meal with the occasional chicken nuggets meal, but like getting something different. If you just wander and decide where to eat as you go, you will definitely think Disney only offers hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. Researching ahead of time will definitely help to add variety to your meals, and not being afraid to divide and conquer!

If referring to waiting in line for things, getting a FastPass for something later, grabbing fast pass tickets for a nighttime spectacular, or just finding a last-minute place to eat, "dealing with Mickey", it just goes to show how easy it is to blame an illustration rather than face the fact that you didnt think this through and now just need a pint to make you feel like nothing ever happened. Strategize! And stop blaming mickey for your perspective. Lol
