Absolute BS. Effort generally hasn't been an issue this season. The players have largely tried their best to play an unworkable system. Appalling tactics (and signings) from this bald imbecile combined with a horrific injury record are what's done for it. Even tonight's shambles wasn't caused by the players "downing tools". Casemiro dived in like a complete idiot in the build-up to the first goal, 36 year old Jonny Evans just coming back from injury got beasted by one of the most physical strikers in the league for the second, etc. Nothing to do with a lack of effort.

Erik top hat is arrogant and has been since he came to MU. He didn't even have the decency to meet with Ralf Rangnick before the club let him go and then they didn't even keep him on as sporting director. ETH was basically given an open cheque book and here is where we are 2 years later... RR came in as interim manager and was pretty much given zero support (except for the fans!) and was called a shite manager! Beyond ridiculous! If he was kept on and been able to recruit the players he wanted, and worked with the team with an actual plan, MU would be contending at the very least for the Champions league right now. Crystal Palace looked great and made MU look like a bunch of schoolboys today. No excuses.

They do not understand the instructions or have not been trained well enough to follow them.
