Niladri bhai, Namaste from North Guwahati. Communicating with people shouldn't be a problem at Nagaland. If they are locals, probably they know English. If not try Hindi, your last weapon is "Nagamese", which is a khichri of Assamese (without grammar) + hindi. Try it and you will find yourself more at home. Ride safe. ✌

Roads are under construction, earlier it was single lane road, now it is converting to 4 lane highway...so, before visiting you need proper research however come 2021 end or 2022...it will be ready

Good to see the development works of NE, which were ignored for several decades.

Yup. The road from Dimapur to Kohima is bad. I am from Manipur and i myself have travelled from this road. The road were constructed several times but Due to the rainfall, hillslide, etc etc the road gets damaged.

I rode that in 2006; classic track down from Haflong and at times no road, so dusty in winter. Ridden all states in India, back then 29 states. Owned 6 Enfields over the years and long haul reached 130,000 klms

I really appreciate the support and love, I do understand but when you come across then you get pissed off by the situation.

Rode Dimapur to Kohima many years back and the road was great...Jan 2006 for the North East Games on one of my Enfields; a lot of military with their eyes on me heading up! Attended a wedding party also in Kohima with the former CM Rio as chief guest

Bro you ride way too fast in such hilly areas It's risky ok Remember we're never told that we will face accident anyday, and once you face in such hilly mountains, you'll go straight down like it's a way to hell.. Be careful... ❤️ From Nagaland

more people like u need to come n visit north-east so that the whole of India will know how much we are neglected by the central govt., when they are spending crores of rupees on building statues for political propoganda, people here dont even get the basic amenities, hope u have a sfae ride, n that dimapur to kohima road is under construction (sorry for the inconveniences)
